Saturday morning: Departs Glos 7.05am ~ arrives Bristol Temple Meads ~ 8.36 am £7 single ~ £14 return Marchello grew up in Tuscany, Italy and spent his teenage years listening to progressive techno and tribal house. In 1997 he moved to London and it is in this vibrant city that he discovered trance and began to DJ in 1998. His first gigs were at “The Cock and Tavern”, one of the most remembered underground venues of that period. It is here that Chichime parties were born, where Marchello was and still is a regular DJ. A few years later he began a residency at Fairy Tales and thanks to these promotions he has played alongside numerous world renowned artists and has developed his style from a more progressive oriented sound to full on psychedelic. During the past years he has played for most of the psy-trance promotions in London and the South East, both indoor and outdoor, including events such as Enlightment, Astral Phoenix, Psygate and Mindscapes. In 2001 he became a label DJ for Etnicanet Records and since then has had the opportunity to travel abroad, DJing in Italy for the Chimera Organization, in Brazil at the Celebra Festival, Freakadelic and Brazilian Trance Festival and other events in Hungary, Greece and France. Recently he has moved to Neurobiotic Records. Marchello has always known that he needs to work hard to succeed and in his early days as DJ practiced a lot and never gave up the chance to play, no matter what the promotion. He sees a bright future for the trance scene and wants to make sure he will be a part of it. He is producing music under the name Cimi, his solo project, and has recently begun a collaboration with M-Klome under the name Sisma. His most recent release is a track in collaboration with Sharigrama, Muddy Dancing, on Alchemy records.
