Hello all my psyfriends:D:D
This is my first Psychedelic track..
It has been a long mission to get sounds and fit them all together.
Ive been trying to make a decent track for over 6 months but had no clue about where to start.
I made this track through fruity loops 6.0.8 Producer Edition. I suffered alot finding a good bassline sound. Finally got just 1 sound which isnt even that great.
Please download the track and let me know what elements i am missing..and please help me someone to get good bassline sounds, am really struggling to find good bassline sounds....
I am missing alot of background sounds which come together on the buildup before the song climax..etc..etc...But..
Please feel free to leave any comments and I must say this is one Hell of a Great forum

Did haven't heard your track yet... but if you're struggling with basslines in FL then you should play with the TS-404 more. I used FL Studio in the beginning and have since moved on to Ableton Live, but I do miss the TS-404 and the random note generator a lot... that combo was a really easy way to get killer basslines.

Hey Nemo,
The SH-101 is a very basic monophonic synth with only one osc and one lfo, so pretty much any subtractive VST will have it's features. Where the SH-101 shines is that it's, of course, analogue... so it can do some amazing bass without the sound breaking down and getting muddy... which is a problem for digital synths. With soundcards capable of higher sample rates this becomes less of a problem, but they still are just a sample of the real thing.
As far as a cheap (or free) VSTs that can do killer bass, I'm a big fan of Bazzoid. I've also heard great things about Synth1 and Tau.
But, unless you have a meaty soundcard, you're not going to get the clean ripping bass that only analogue offers.
Looking for a digital (SPDIF in/out) mixer

Hey there... I'm looking for a mixer with a digital SPDIF in and out... something that can go between the computer and my digital monitors that can control the volume level. Ideally it wouldn't even be a mixer, just a 1-in 1-out solution... but I'm guessing that a mixer is where I'll find this feature.
Any suggestions? THe more inexpensive the better.
