Thrancians - www.myspace.com/thrancians - presents friday 23th of november: Loopus In Fabula - www.loopusinfabula.com - Italy, live and dj set. Together with him the customary DJ Latam (Romania) - www.myspace.com/djlatam - at Club Web in Bucuresti. A special night is expected that will mach the special guest.
Loopus In Fabula originally was a duo, from Milano, Italy: Matteo and Jacopo. They had been involved in music for more then 10 years, starting with an electrojazz background (Matteo played sax, Jacopo keyboard) and then moving towards trance around 1998. At first Loopus released tracks on various labels from all over the world: Digital Psionics (AUS), Surreal Audio (FIN), ZMA (GRE), Flow (POR), Exogenic (FIN), Resonoise (UK), Devic Craft (GRE), Candyflip (GRE) and then the first album "LOOPUS IN FABULA" has been released by the Australian label, Demon Tea Records (2002). The second album (2003) “ASTROFUNK” has been released on Matteo own label "FABULARECORDS".
In 2004 Matteo, as Dj Loopus, has selected for Fabula Records, together with Dj Styx, the compilation "ULTRAPOP" where he exposed his music and djing philosophy putting together a collection of works from artists all around the globe who are looking for something "different" in the broad psytrance genre... The compilation includes works from Antiscarp Warriors, kiwa, the polish crew of Bigwigs, Eatstatic, Sienis as well as Loopus in Fabula. The third album "FAT LADIES BINGO" (2006) is the result of the work of Matteo in solo version or in collaboration with Jacopo and various artists from Australia and Finland.
In 2007 the duo official splits and Matteo take over the Loopus projects. In the same year a new compilation is released for Fabularecords "ULTRAPOP 2" and has the name suggest it continues the funky philosphy established with the first one...it will include works of Kiwa, Talpa, Ocelot, Krumelur, Itaitaiko as well as Loopus and the new genial artist from New Zealand Tom Cosm...
Loopus has established himself a reputation for the so called "funkedelic" sound: a mixture of psytrance and funky disco sounds...there's actually more (or less), a total free crossover of influences with an electro, progressive, jazzy, circus feeling blended with the severe discipline of psytrance: a mind twisting psychedelia with running full baseline...
Loopus has played almost until now in almost every corner of the world, from the intimate tycoon's private party in Moscow to the 10000 people beach dancefloor in St Kilda festival, Melbourne and has developed a blended live + djset featuring a special task: slowly bringing the dancefloor into a relaxed, happy, funky atmosphere full of laughs and funny smiles... for this reason his set works best in early nights or sunny morning at outdoors or... (!) anytime in the kinky clubs....

Featuring several music projects (Samodelia, Ar Kane, Mana, Disham - ouim.net), now I work mostly alone, sometimes with guest instrumentalists. Along the electronic works, I was also involved in a movie production as music composer. Most enjoyed gigs (at festivals): Boom 2004, Easter Sunday 2005, Transylvania calling 2005 and 2007, Ozora 2005, Soulclipse 2006, Underwater-Overground 2006, Gathering of the Tribes 2007, Sziget 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, Sofia Earthdance 2006, 2007.

" Thrancians (www.myspace.com/Thrancians) returns with a new party, after the 1 month ago live act by Atma and not only the club was totally full and the people danced untill 8th in the morning. This time another special ocasion: the celebration of DJ Latam's (www.myspace.com/DJLatam) birthday party, who just got back from Sofia, Bulgaria, where he mixed at the EarthDance Festival togheter with Banco de Gaia, Snake Sedrick, Saiko Pod, V-Sag, DJ Slater and many more.
He will now be joined by two of his best friends, R-Tur (www.myspace.com/Arturtrance) from Sibiu, well known for the long years collaboration with Atma who resulted in many tracks wrote together and Thornado (www.myspace.com/ThornadoDj), from the well known label Groove++ lead by Vania, whith whom the crowd from Bucharest is probably very familiar. Special guests for a special night.
It's all happening saturday 6th of october in Web Club Bucharest. You are all invited to dance. "
