Just bought it. Stunning, serious!

PLEASE come to Denmark and play, partypromoters; GET BUSY
This is real psytrance, no less alot more
I simply love that album! What about some remixes...? Oh yeah, why fix something that isn't broken?
-
It IS worth the money, one of the best albums of the year(s?) IMO
Believe Me, the review describes it perfectly
-
uhhh well it is odd cause I REALLY liked Sky Input when it came out. However I don't quite like this one. I guess most people said it here already: melodies sound too random, aren't as memorable as the ones on Sky Input and there's just too much of the same (except for the last downtempo track): the synth presets are the same, the melodies are similar, and basically all the bag of FX tricks are about the same for EACH track (and mind you all these elements were already virtually the same for the Sky Input album...). Hell, this guy even manages to make the Crop Circles track sound like just another Filteria track on the album!
It's not a BAD album, indeed it makes your heartbeat rise when you're "in that mood", but somehow it leaves a bad aftertaste in your mouth IMO. Who knows, maybe I'm just getting too old for this? lol anyway, sorry Filteria but this one gets a 7/10 from me...
I think it's a great album. He's (almost) the only artist who supply that kind of psychedelic melodic goa to the scene. In that genre in the last couple of years, there has been NOONE like him. Filtera Rock! Jannis, plz release a remix/unreleased album, espacially a remix cd could be fantastick! For all us melodic trnace lovers...
-
then explain me, Mr Smarty-pants... what special caracteristics distinguishes "forest trance" from other psytrance... everytime I've asked that question people just wandered off and never could produce a coherent answer, other than "well, you know, it sounds.... wierd...". But maybe you will be the first to enlighten me?
Satisfied with Anoebis' reply, 'Winki?

I just heard it 5 times in a row, and it is a unique album with some very wild rides (Schlumpen, Skreno, Stiky Web, White Magic!)!
Which group ever combined dark atmospheres, forest sounds and goa melodies? None, melodic dark music is extremely rare...Tell me 3 names that make music in the Ka Sol style...
It's also beyond me that you hear Full On in it, it comes not even close, except when you say all 140+BPM music = full on
I was just thinking that..

10/10. Absolutely not like anything else we've seen before. High-class psychedelic with lotsa acidic old school mushroom forest atmospheres can't describe it, definately album of the year IMO.

-
Yup, that party @ Action House with Sub6 also will be very cool...
I hope that MFG plays some wild goatrance...
-
I would buy the double-album without a doubt. Remixes should include Ultimator and Stars..

More Filteria plz, oldschool @ it's best! :-D

Shakta, BLT anyone? I think they fit in the category "Psygressive"...
Mainly progressive trance with psychadelic elements...
-
@Quark, I am from Aalborg too! The world is small, and so is Denmark hehe
-
Denmark!
Labels like Iboga and Crotus are some of the best psychadelic progressive trance labels out there...
I'm proud of being a Dane, because such a small country like Denmark can have a moderat and always-growing rave-scene... (And believe me, it IS a small country...)

Hi, I bought this CD (and others from Psyshop) a couple of weeks ago. This was the first of the CD's that i heard, and thank god for that. I was put in the mood instantly with FREq's "Time Stretcher", and all those funkyass basslines continued until the last track. Progressive Morning Trance @ it's best...
One of my Top 5 CD's of the year!
-
Infected Mushroom Vs. The Misted Muppet Vs. Filteria
-
Koxbox Vs. Hallucinogen. That could be the best
-
Sub6 - Ra Heya [Juvenile Remix]
-
Yep, and not to mention "Rage"
Trentemoller - The Last Resort (Pokerflat Records)

Both CD's are great in their own way, it's all Trentemøller!
