  1. Hello ya all!

I guess i would find you all here.I guess Nuxx is a mystery! eheh ...joking

First of all thank you all for the kind words and the comments over the last few years,It help me a lot to improve my work and my skills as a musician and a producer:D

I had an accident so i couldnt do much over the last year.

I'm still recovering i guess,so i have to take it easy.I'm also a proud father of a 7 year old boy thats takes a lot of my time, wich i gladly spend with him.

Concerning my music i released so tiny demos on acidplanet to check out the feel to it from the tracks and the album i'm currently on producing. As opposing to most of you i really think the basis and a track feeling is very important to the listener.Forget the production and forget the details ,whats important is the primal feeling of some sounds and the way they interct with you.mind production and final construction later.

For those who know my work over those years know that i always do a first research over the listener with this clips and the reaction into it.

I guess it wasnt so well recieved as i expected (BTW BIOSYNTHETIC was a nice way to put it!!! i loved it).

Still im going forward with this (you can call it) new nuxx sound .it's more balanced and more classic in a way.

I'm free (at least when i arrange time for it) to help anyone that need a hand or even do a nice collab, wich i didnt do over the years as often as i like.

Once again ty for all acidplaneteers who help me over the years .

P.S.--- Synogen ,i hope you recieve my email and the txt attachment about that nice mirc session chat.

Keep it real and i'm sorry for my poor english

  2. I was wondering what kind of Midi Sequencer people here at the board are using. I use Cubase SX 2, and I feel that it is very untight. I have a M-Audio midisport 2x2 for midi.

I use a M-Audio Firewire 410 Audiocard, since its firewire and I only produce on the laptop.

I am thinking of switching over to another sequencer, and leave Cubase behind once and for all.

What do you people use? Any sequencer that you prefer? I need to use Midi, not audio, that is not important (Well, I use audio too, but there are always workarounds).

I used Logic Audio for a very long time, but since they stopped developing for PC, I have left it totally. I wish there was one out there that was as tight as that. And yes I know, I should get myself a MAC, but that is not in the budget just yet ;)

Well,in my opinion you have 2 logical choices, maybe 3 if you like the third one.

Sonar 4 (released last week) and greatly improved

Ableton 4 ( now with midi support ) not my first choice for a sequencer

    Orion Platinum 5.5

i would stick for Sonar. but since i use Sx and i'm happy with it ...Shrug ...

This brilliant album was released last year and it is by any means one of the best ambient albums from last year. It has really soothing melodies, smooth structures and overall very peaceful feeling. I like all songs on the album. I won't go song by song cause there isn't so much to describe. They all sound very crisp with immense production. Crystal clear sounds and effects make this album a pure bliss. It is the best for chill outs after parties or for early mornings. Get it if you like your brain to float and travel in infinite spaces. Best on album : CENTRAL PLAINS ( ! ), NEUROTRANSMITTER, HYDROPHONIC GARDEN ( ! ), EXOSPHERE ( ! ), ARTIFICIAL ISLAND...10/10

The Debut album from Johannes Hedberg & Daniel Ringström AKA CARBON BASED LIFEFORM is not only The best ambient album (Awarded in many reviews troughout the Internet and Mags) of 2003 but i guess from the last 2 or 3 Years.

It has some quite simple formula.IT sooths the soul.the tracks have only what they need to function giving it the genious formula to touch us deep.Less shaping and more into slow Rythms but with some very nice melodic parts.

Tracks to remember. MOS 6581 is probably on my all time top 10 on ambient.Trully remarkable. CENTRAL PLAINS , NEUROTRANSMITER ...

Try to sleep on it.every track has it's own message and every one is a good one.

If you like i recommend their DEMO album called "The Path".

  4. I must confess i am a big fan of Ultimae Crew. And after i checked Ultimae site with samples i bought every single cd.

This one from Magnus Birgersson AKA Solar Fields is unique. It differs from everything i listend for it's synthesis soundforms and shapes.Always a demanding Ambient bass tone present, a plastic (not in the wrong way) fusion of soundscapes.Exellent.The Post production is outstanding and very clear.

Tracks i elevate are COSMIC DESSERT, INFECTION 268-7 (a progressive track with actually some interest.) MAGNETIC AIR ( Very, very chillin and soothing) and finnaly ELEVATOR SUNSHINE GIRL (Fusion sound ).

Id say that if it wasnt for CBL (Carbon based lifeforms) debut this would be my chill /ambient Work for 2003. 10/10 and a must in every top shelf.

  5. Well Ticon has done it again. This EP but specially "Waiting for the knights" is

trully infectious. As most of anyone wrote it's perfect for the dancefloor. What

no one wrote is that this track is an abuse of grooves.if played at the right

moment with the right crowd it can do serious damages, violating your now

damaged brain. If you spin psytrance this is a must on your collection.I

already bought it!the second track is not so great but still it's worth buying

"Knights".7/10 (EP).9/10 (waiting for the knights)

  6. The kings are not dead! For those who praised their comeback or for those who

claimed their grave as the very top Deep Goa band of all time.I consider

myself on the first group, simply because the influences generated in the Goa

Trance community by AP was,is & will be huge (myself included)."Amen" is a

bless and a curse...Considering AP carreer point of view.In my opinion lacks

some innovation except in "technodrome" wich i consider a lil too progressive

trance for my taste.. "Chaos" is the only blessing that "Amen" gave me and i

consider that one of the best tracks AP has made ever!(dubious opinion)

followed in close by "nexus"...All in all the concept behing the album is good

and very homogenic, and when i buy an album i get really happy if has one or

two tracks i specially like....this is the case. Not the best of the year but

    it's on my top shelf!

    7/10
