The epicentre of Tribal Gathering, featuring the very best international Psy-trance, Progressive and Techno acts from around the world. We are inviting artists, architects, designers, decorators and creative visionaries to help us create an area that will inspire and spark our imaginations.
Global Stage
The alternative music venue. A wonderful curved and dramatically tiered stone amphitheatre cut into a natural gully with two swimming pools to cool off in.. An eclectic variety of music from local and international artists, Ambient, Psy-Chill, Dubstep, Minimal and the funkiest House will ensure there’s music for all tastes and moods.
Global Village
The festival will start here with an Inter Tribal Symposium.
Several Indigenous tribes will be present, hosting talks, workshops, theatre and dance.
You will find all things related to living in harmony with each other and our natural environment. Its a productive zone, the place to learn more about how to live in our world - from the city to the tribal village, power generation to permaculture. This tipi village will contain a visionary art gallery "Art Sphere", Geohaven the conference area, Holistic and Wellness Zones, an Artisan Market and Restaurants.
Shamanic Experience
Cleans your body and sole in nightly shamanic ceremonies in the river side sweat lodge.
On Site and Eco Projects
Our festival food garden will display techniques unique to rain forest cultivation.
We plan on building beautiful wood-fired eco-showers designed with water conservation in mind.
There will be traditional long drop compost toilets.
Recycling bins will be dotted round the site, please use them. All rubbish will be sorted through after the event and recycled again.
GAME
We have a GAME for attendees which will start simply with points for doing things on the site, voting for musicians, discussing issues, looking at posts, commenting etc...
The initial idea being to gain site traffic...
Next year is when it starts to make ecological sense, we will introduce real world tasks.. Planting trees will get you points, growing vegetables, green construction and other eco-directed projects.
Lets get as many people that we can, regularly using the site so that when the ecologic GAME kicks in it might actually make a difference out there.
Of course if you WIN, we will fly you to Panama for the festival with free VIP tickets and an invite to the private after party on our Pirate Ship....
If you dont win, don't worry there are still more great prizes.
Location and Travel
La Iguana, a natural resort nestled in a beautiful jungle valley three hours from Panama city.
Go for a swim in the river, follow one of the trails deep into the forest or visit the springs and enjoy the panoramic views.
Getting here could not be easier with buses running from Panama city at all hours.
Tocumen international Airport has direct flights from Amsterdam, Madrid, Frankfurt, New York, San Francisco, Miami, Rio de Janeiro and many other cities around the world.
Charitable Programs
We are a non profit set up primarily to work with local indigenous communities, bringing global tribes together, sharing creativity and ideas for all.
If any one has a functional old laptop and you might want to donate it to an indigenous village school, or if you want to donate money to help in our projects, pop along to our website and find out how easy this is to do.

Many more hostels and hotels can be found 12km down the road in Penonome.
Guidelines:
This event is in a beautifull valley, the Jungle is all around. It is a pristeen location, so please take home anything you bring with you. Be aware when you go for jungle trail walks, there are animals and insects that will harm or eat you. Do not attempt to feed them, they are wild and need to stay that way. Try to use organic eco-safe soap, shampoo and bug sprays. Its a good idea to bring a torch, it can get very dark under the canopy at night.
IMPORTANT!! Cash machine and petrol available in Penonome, neither is available in Churuquita Grande, so make sure you bring enough for the weekend!!
Locals are really friendly, you just have to ask around to find anything you need.

Welcome to the fourth edition in our series of free Full Moon Gatherings
So, here it is, a bit late in the posting, number 4 on our series of Caribbean Full Moon Gatherings. This time on the world famous Red Frog Beach, Bastimentos Island in Bocas del Toro. Flying in all the way from England, three amazing artists from the chill out, progressive and full on UK psytrance family. Beardy Weirdy will be laying down the much anticipated debut album Squelch Monster (official release date: May 12th). Simon Baring will rearrange your grey matter with an undoubtedly twisted rendition on the ones and twos and the stupendously experienced Robin Triskele will be bringing home the veggie bacon like only a psy goddess of her caliber could do. At its best MI5 will be on site with the deepest dance music going. From Costa Rica we have Phoenix with fully psychedelic and mind-blowing music. Lua Meiga, our resident Galician spinner, will as usual weave her own blend of magic. Crossing the country from the capital the BPM crew headed by the irrepressible Murlidelic are for sure gonna rock the place with the funkiest tunnage on the dance floor. Mind Pulse, the busiest local DJ in Bocas will add to the already impressive line up with his full-on, dark and wonderfully introspective music.
As with all our gatherings, more acts will be added to the line up as and when they are confirmed. Musicians and djs play for free and many have expressed their intent to come by their own means to the gatherings. This is what the line up shows. Circumstances out of our control might cause changes in the line up that GeoParadise cannot predict or assume responsibility for. The Full Moon Gatherings are FREE, that said we are more than happy to accept donations to help fund the Indigenous Meeting in the Tribal Gathering 2012.
BOCAS DEL TORO IS A TROPICAL PARADISE CONSISTING OF 64 PERFECT CORAL REEFED ISLANDS, ADORNED WITH COCONUT PALMS AND WHITE SANDY BEACHES, NESTLED IN THE WARM CARIBBEAN SEA OFF THE COAST OF PANAMA.
Food and drink:
We kindly ask you to leave your coolers and alcohol at home, please. The party is free and your money at the bar helps cover some of the costs. There is food available nearby at the beach in 2 gorgeous restaurants or you are more than welcome to bring your own.
PLEASE BRING DRINKING WATER for the duration of the event.
Accommodation:
You should bring your tent or hammock. Camping at the beach is free. There are also a budget hostel and luxury villas at a walking distance from the beach and an affordable and beautiful tent lodge close-by on the beach. Camping in the tent lodge is not free, but is very cheap and comes with the bonus of the use of their community kitchen, showers and other amenities. There are also other accommodation options on the island, but they all require a boat ride to Red Frog. For more information, please, contact us

This event is on a beautiful, natural beach, so please take everything home that you decide to bring. Your litter is your responsibility.
If you visit the neighbor beach "Playa de las Estrellas" (Starfish beach), please, do not touch or disturb the starfish to keep them healthy.

GETTING HERE COULDN'T BE EASIER:
There are numerous buses to Bocas Del Toro Panama. Costs from Panama city are around $23, David around $12 and around $15 from San Jose (Costa Rica) (add $3 for the boat to Colon island).
Flights from Panama city to Bocas are around $80 + taxes each way operated by Air Panama. Nature Air flies from San José (Costa Rica) to Bocas at about $180-200 each way. Check their websites for more info and book in advance to guarantee your place.
Once in Bocas town catch one of the lanchas (boats) at $5 to Red Frog Beach in Isla Bastimentos. There are plenty drivers and companies that offer the service in town, you just need to ask around at the main street.
For the shortest walk to the gathering site, get the boat to drop you at the first entrance to Red Frog, although you can also come from the public pier. Both ways there is a $3 fee to pay to the land owners for using their private paths to cross their properties and access the beach. These are the only two ways to access Red Frog Beach since boat access onto the beach is not possible.

We should also point out that all our Full Moon Gatherings are free and the artists play for free. We try to book artists who are playing in or around Panama at other paid events, consequently our line-ups could change from time to time through the actions of these other events.

Nature Air flies from San José (Costa Rica) to Bocas at about $180-200 each way. Check their websites for more info and book in advance to guarantee your place cause its Easter and planes will get all booked up.
Once on the island catch one of the buses at $2.50 to Boca Del Drago. After the left turn on to the coast road, stop at the Wavy Tribe Center, the first property on the right.
Taxis from Bocas Town are about $10 ($20 after midnight). Sharing a ride is always recommended.

KUNA YALA IS A TROPICAL PARADISE CONSISTING OF 365 PERFECT CORAL REEFED ISLANDS, ADORNED WITH COCONUT PALMS AND WHITE SANDY BEACHES, NESTLED IN THE WARM CARIBBEAN SEA OF THE COAST OF PANAMA.
Kuna (People) Yala (Land) are quite simply the last islands in the Caribbean not to be overrun by foreigners, the Kuna are the last indigenous peoples to still control their lands. They still live in traditional wood and bamboo huts, fish in dugout canoes, the women wear traditional dress and only three island groups have electricity.
The Kuna People and their land are really a beacon of self managed autonomous tribes. They are one of a few tribes in the Americas that still exist in their own form and are, in fact, thriving. They manage this seemingly impossible task by keeping their traditions alive and holding on to a strict policy that no foreigner can own land or a business there. Huge and powerful consortiums are constantly turned away, the lure of wealth and power does not sway the Congreso General Kuna. Disney Land will never come to Kuna Yala.
The Kuna have a Pacha Mama or Gaian based philosophy. They are elements of the universe interwoven with all. They are matriarchal with land being owned and passed down by women to women. The men are warriors, defenders of the land and are honored as such with authority to manage the lands being bestowed on them by the matriarchs.
We cover our expenses through bar sales, so please, leave your coolers and alcohol on the mainland. There will be food available at the restaurant or you are more than welcome to bring your own.
You should bring lots of drinking water, your tent or hammocks and a thin blanket or sheet.
IMPORTANT: These islands are in pristine condition, please help keep them that way. Take all of your rubbish home with you.
We should also point out that all our Full Moon Gatherings are free and the artists play for free. We try to book artists who are playing in or around Panama at other paid events, consequently our line-ups could change from time to time through the actions of these other events.

THE EASY WAY

and they will for a small fee organize travel to and from the Island for you.
THE HARD WAY
Bus or taxi to El Llano then north to Carti ($5 bus or $25 Taxi) Alternatively you can take you own car.
IMPORTANT: The Kuna Yala road is open between 6am-4pm, so you need to reach the Kuna Yala border before that time. You will be asked to pay a few dollars at the boarder for the upkeep of the forest (a very good cause indeed).
Once you arrive in Carti (the coast), ask the launches for Banedup Island. ($10 + depending on how many of you share the boat)
All in the return journey from Panama should cost you less than $70.
However you decide to get here it is a good idea to let us know in advance then we can make sure there are boats ready for you in Carti and ensure that the restaurant has enough provisions. You can RSVP on our calendar

The festival will start here with an Inter Tribal Symposium.Several Indigenous tribes will be present, hosting talks, workshops, theatre and dance.You will find all things related to living in harmony with each other and our natural environment. Its a productive zone, the place to learn more about how to live in our world - from the city to the tribal village, power generation to permaculture. This tipi village will contain a visionary art gallery "Art Sphere", Geohaven the conference area, Holistic and Wellness Zones, an Artisan Market and Restaurants.Cleans your body and sole in nightly shamanic ceremonies in the river side sweat lodge.Our festival food garden will display techniques unique to rain forest cultivation.We plan on building beautiful wood-fired eco-showers designed with water conservation in mind.There will be traditional long drop compost toilets.Recycling bins will be dotted round the site, please use them. All rubbish will be sorted through after the event and recycled again.We have a GAME for attendees which will start simply with points for doing things on the site, voting for musicians, discussing issues, looking at posts, commenting etc...The initial idea being to gain site traffic...Next year is when it starts to make ecological sense, we will introduce real world tasks.. It is a pristeen location, so please take home anything you bring with you. Be aware when you go for jungle trail walks, there are animals and insects that will harm or eat you. Do not attempt to feed them, they are wild and need to stay that way. Try to use organic eco-safe soap, shampoo and bug sprays. Its a good idea to bring a torch, it can get very dark under the canopy at night.IMPORTANT!! A truly psychedelic transformational festival for tribes of the world.Adding to an amazing international lineup, possibly the worlds most beautiful location on the Caribbean sea, with artists from around the world and structures built by indigenous tribes using traditional techniques, there are meeting houses, stages, an art gallery, craft rooms, tipi's, a sweat Lodge, market, restaurants and bars.
Tribal communities with representatives from Guna, Embera, Maya, Ngobe, Boruca and more will live with us for the duration of the gathering, sharing their ideas and culture through ceremonies, workshops, talks, theatre, art, food and drink.
There really is no other festival like this on earth.
Money raised by the event goes to sponsor projects with the tribes in attendance throughout the following year.
