  1. I also played Silent Hill 2, but it was so long ago. I wished I could play it now. The critics are right when they say that SH2 is the best of the series. And I will never forget the soundtrack to the game. I remember that at one point I just turned the music off. It scared me too much.

I also like that part of Resident Evil 5. Especially I like to play it at Veteran or Pro level with basic weapons with no upgrades and with limited ammo. And the fat axe guy is one the best enemies in the game IMO, together with the chainsaw men and the giant shamans.

  2. Ten albums I listened the most during May:

    1. Koxbox - Live At Burning Man 1996

    2. Ishq - Skyspaces

    3. The Orb - The Orb's Adventure Beyond The Ultraworld

    4. Younger Brother - The Vaccine

    5. FSOL - Dead Cities

    6. Ott - Mir

    7. Antares - Exodus

    8. Artifact303 - Back To Space

    9. Psykovsky - Na Ve Ka

    10. Enichkin - In Memory Of Love

  3. For me the best melodies are in old Koxbox/Psychopod tracks.

The melody in Psychopod - "Universal Mind" always blows my mind. And I was hooked on the spacey melodies in Koxbox - "Too Pure" since the first listen.

That infectious melody in Hallucinogen -"Gamma Goblins" is also one of the best from me. I also really like the melodies in Electric Universe - "One Love". So trancy.

  4. you could have tried both

What's done is done, but there is still plenty of time to catch up.

And I will always remember high school for one personal accomplishment: turning a friend to psytrance. He used to listen to electro, tech-house, drum and bass, rap, but then he discovered normal trance and he liked it. I offered him to listen to some psytrance. Because he was from a club scene, I decided to give him for a listen something progressive, not very intense and so I gave him the Youtube link to "Koxbox - The Great Unknown". He said to me that he liked it a lot and that the track made him fly. On another occasion I gave him for listening "Koxbox - Electronic Brainwash". He managed to listen only one minute. He said that he liked it and it made him feel good, but it was too much. But, slowly, he will come to the deep psy side.

  5. I think it's impossible to get tired of goa. You listened to some album hundred times and you still want to listen to it again, and again, and again...

Back to the topic, I think there's nothing wrong with neogoa. Many say that neogoa sounds derivative of old goa, but for me it's different. The essence is the same, but the soundscapes are different. For example, Pleiadians sounds to me as aliens landed on Earth and try to speak with you, while Filteria is about lightspeed voyage trough outer space and meetings with energy beings. Maybe musically there are similarities, but the new wave goa music(IMO)is not a clone.

  6. IMO the album isn't that bad. There are a lot of sounds, but they are in the background and they are very subtle. The vocals aren't annoying and even add some trippyness ("Spinning into a place"). Also, I discovered that this album really benefits from horizontal listening. But this is just my opinion.
