  1. For me, it all started 7 years ago. I was pretty much listening to regular teen crap; hip hop, metal, and so on. So, a friend came to school with one of those cellphones that were compatible with mp3. I guess his older brother had put some tracks onto it, because a sample of Bizzare Contact-Freedom was in there.

God, I can still remember playing that 30 sec part for the rest of the week, before I decided to search for more of this new genre. So, the next thing I "found" were AP, Shanti and Phanatic. I was pretty much into Isra trance for 2 years, when I had the luck to find 2 friends in highschool that were also hooked on psy. I had the chance to listen to Ultimae/Twisted records, and those sounds just blew me away ( and even though Corridor of Mirrors didn't get much love from you guys, I still think its one of the best '00 albums released :) )

I've heard this type of thing a lot from "metalheads". The "Classic rock" listeners are very anti-trance too I've found. They just want to listen to the same Led Zeppelin records for the rest of eternity it seems, and anything made in the last 30 years sucks. The ironic thing is that is exactly what many people said about Led Zeppelin (or similar bands) back then. The only thing they seem to hate more than electronic music is hip-hop. ;)

It just always amazes me that people can be satisfied with such a limited musical selection, but to each their own. :) I know a lot of people won't like psytrance, but to stick to one strict subgenre of music just seems weird.

Jokes aside, Led Zeppelin is a fantastic band.

    :)

  3. Its obvious.

You should find a nearest lesbian, and convince her into scisoring with her friend, while you watch.

Only then will you be able to unfold tihs covers mistery.

    +You'll get a boner.

Is the album any good, though?

  4. Etnica are some of the people that I listened when I was a teenager, made me fall in love with psy-trance and was inspired to get involved with psy-trance when I first heard them in 1996.

Something that filled my heart with joy was hearing them play a few of our unreleased and soon to be released, tunes in Athens. Then stumbling upon a clip of them playing "Lifesaver/Heartbreaker" in another gig, on youtube.

    :D

Sure feels great to have the "holy monsters" of trance music playing our music, today.

Post some clips of your idols playing your music.

    Peace out.

Kolos is just killing the atmosphere.

Their performance @ xLagoom was more enjoyable imo :)

Though there's no doubt that they're are one of the best live acts I ever heard.

  5. At first, I'd like to say hello to everybody, because I'm new to this forum. :)

So, there is no question that this album sets new frontiers in psychedelic music. The way he combines several electronic genres is mindstunning, not to mention OTT's sound mastering skills which imho, exceeds 99% of electronic artists. As for me(and I don't like dubstep at all), he made a masterpiece(again).

What puzzles me is that most of you don't credit skylon, which I found to be easily the best ambient release, maybe with CBL's Hydroponic Garden sharing the highlight spot.

Once again, fantastic album, and I hope he comes to Serbia <_< YOU KNOW OTT WE HAVE PRETTY GOOD PSYCHEDELIC SCENE HERE!
