    Artist News

     

    Argentina music has spread around the world, and many new releases feature tracks from our artists.

     

    Frantic Noise has released two collaboration tracks, one with Sattwa from Serbia and one with Karash from France, in V/A Remedy from Urban Antidote Records, a new label run by our good friend from Portugal Sushupti. Frantic Noise will also be included in the next Omveda Records compilation.

A portrait of the inner core of the feline essence, amplifying and multypling the animal becomings in the psychedelic experience, binding our most primitive instincts with our most cosmic desires.

    Glosolalia has released his first track on the Magnum Opus compilation by Tantrumm Records, his 14 minute long psychedelic poem, is amongst artists like Psykovsky, Furious and Gorump Peyya. Big hug to Fria and Vasily and congratulations for this great compilation.

    Frantic Noise and Pandora's Box will be featured in the next Omveda Compilation, which has the conceptual idea of placing mantras in all the tracks. This release is planned by February/March. Pandora's Box will also appear in the next Sanaton compilation, also planned to be released around the European Spring.

    Also there are plans for tracks of Will O' Wisp and Glosolalia for Quantum Frog Records, release date unknown for now. Zigurat, Glosolalia and Will O' Wisp appeared in the last Goa Gil Chart.     Label News

     

    Bestiary is almost completed now, after changing some tracks, the tracklist is confirmed and the artwork is done. We will announce the release date as soon as possible. It will be a six page digipack.

     

    Also we will release soon a free compilation of old tracks from all the Dark Prisma crew, stay tuned as this will happen soon.

    fresh news out of our ooze well, we will know more about release dates after summer.

     

    V/A Bestiary

     

    From the netherlands of the Frantic Noise galaxy, the V/A Bestiary will be unleashed soon. From the Argentina side it will include Pandora's Box, Megalopsy, two solo Frantic Noise tracks and one together with Will O' Wisp, and from the interntional side it will include mexican artist Kashyyyk, Arabali from the San Francisco Bay and Sattwa and Metamorphose representing Serbia. This collection of psychedelic beasts will be unvelied in September this year.

     

    V/A The Void : Disintegration

    There are two new interviews which extend the concept beyond the release, one is with Martin Barbero, visionary artist from Argentina, responsible of the drawings and motifs used for the release, and the other one is with Filter explaining the ideas behind the series.

     

    Splits

    Currently we are working on three splits that will show all the projects and collaborations from the Dark Prisma roaster. On the forest side we will have a split done by Pandora's Box and Filtro, containing new tracks from their projects and collaborations, and on the more intense side we will have a split done by Will O' Wisp and Glosolalia and on the more experimental side we will have a split done by Glosolalia, Kashyyyk and Sonik Scizzor, the side project from Alien Mental.

     

    Artist News

     

    Frantic Noise

     

    Frantic Noise is now also part of Auraquake Records, cutting edge label founded by Penta including artists such as Atriohm, Parus and oCeLoT. We will have more info soon but you can expect for sure some new tracks in the next Auraquake compilation. Click here to visit their site.

     

    Currently he is working on the final process for this V/A Bestiary and working on new solo tracks and collaborations with Argentina artists, he has also worked together with Karash and Sattwa which will be out this year by the portuguese based label Urban Antidote.

     

    Glosolalia

    Glosolalia has shaken the Argentina scene and speakers in his entrance to the psychedelic universe. Sculpting beautiful and brutal soundscapes, Boder brings visions from the core of the source, mutating our perpcetion of the definition of what's psychedelic. With a wide range of explorations and speeds, Glosololia will be the next one to take the psychedelic world by surprise.

     

    Currently he is working on both the split with Will O'Wisp where they will explore high bpms and his split with Kashyyk and Sonik Scizzor, which is scheduled to release in the end of the year.

    Megalopsy

    Megalopsy will release Melting Ink on the Psycrowdelica festival compilatin and Alien Stretcher will be the ending track for V/A Bestiary.

     

    Currently they are working on the second album which will be kept top secret for now. Also Filtro is working together with Pandora's Box as Abyss OOze, and his new side project, Zigurat, born of the need to explore and experiment new sound frontiers.

     

    Pandora's Box

    Pandora's Box has released Natural Affinity in the V/A Shadow Enuin: at the Earth's Edge from Moon Koradji Records, together with artists such as Mubali, Kuro Fusion, Phobos Azael and Acid Goblins. The Hole Visitor is the track that will open V/A Bestiary and Murmuring will be released in the next compilation of Urban Antidote records from Portugal.

     

    Currently they are working on new tracks together and also working on their side and solo projects.

    Will O' Wisp

    We also welcome Will O' Wisp, project of dj Pandemonix. Exploring fast speeds, he makes his entrance with strong basslines and brutal audio destructions. His first release was Event Horizon together with Pandora's Box on the V/A The Void: Disintegration

     

    Currently he is working on the split together with Glosolalia, exploring the higher bpms as he is also working together with Pandora's Box, Frantic Noise and Megalopsy.

    Megalopsy is filtr0 and z1p, a psychedelic exploration born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2002, focused on creating musical potions designed to waken the listener into awareness. Combining influences from life, nature, travels in inner and outer space, Megalopsy uses music as a tool to shape and enhance perception, exploring a wide spectrum of sound dimensions, materializing them in a psychedelic audible format, suitable for dancefloors and home-listening.

    As psychedelic musicians and shamans we dive into The Void seeking sacred knowledge to assist the universe in its mission of endless transformation. This is our spell to invoke the aliens within us, this is our initiation, our rite of passage. Combining ancient techniques and present day tools, we forge our musical key to the door of divine secrets, we tear holes in the sky, pouring abyss ooze on the fabric of reality, we create our own mythology, we create our own future and our own destiny.

     

    As the Tibetan Chod ritual, this initiation starts by being devoured by the jaws of the The Void in the Disintegration process, where mind and body are melted to let the spirit leap into the Otherside. To guide this journey through the cosmic goo we have gathered audio explorers from all around the world to unfold this transformation. From Argentina we have Megalopsy, Frantic Noise and the new artists Pandora's Box and Will O' Wisp,the collaboration project known as Abyss Ooze between Filter and Pandora's Box and also a collaboration between Megalopsy and Xikwri Neyra from Mexico, on the international side we have Polyphonia from Greece, Ghreg on Earth from USA, Encephalopatycis from Macedonia, and the swiss/french combination of Electrypnose and Karash known as Cerebral Factory. As an open conclusion the cd ends with a track by Prisma, the downtempo project from Filter, leading the way to the hidden palace.

     

    Once again Dark Prisma Records returns to the deep and alien side of psychedelic trance, materializing our explorations of the unknown territories of our conciousness in an audible format in the first cd from The Void Series. Compiled by Filter and mastered by Tim Schuldt, this cd was designed not only for pleasing its listeners but also as a tool for a transformation, use it wisely. This compilation also features the work of visionary artist Martin Andalucida who designed and illustrated the aesthetic concept of the whole cd.

    Welcome everyone again :D.

     

    We materialize again in this universe to bring you an update on the Dark Prisma Galaxy. We are working hard to bring you the Alien/Latin American perspective of psychedelic trance, slowly but firmly, they will be condensed into flesh for your listening pleasure.

     

    Upcoming Releases

     

    Heterogenesis - Revoluciones Maquinicas(DPRCD002)

     

    First and foremost we are proud to announce the debut album of Heterogenesis, the combination of Pragmatix and Cosmos Vibrations. Revoluciones Maquinicas is the title of their work, created with the intention of using art as a revolutionary and spiritual path. Expressed in 10 tracks, this pleasent psychedelic trip is a new approach to the morning experience, filled with divine melodies, alien percussions and groovy basslines.

     

    With the clear intention of erasing any boundaries or divisions in psychedelic trance, we decided to offer you our perspective on the bright side. We believe that differences keep us apart and with this cd we wish to go back to what this music used to be called: psychedelic trance, alien music for an alien revolution. This cd was mastered by Artifakt at Timecode studios, it will be distributed by Beatspace and will be released in June. We hope you enjoy it!.

    The Void: Disintegration is the first of a series, depicting the rite of initation we must endure to contact the other side and its dwellers. Through an intense journey we loose our form and bodies to enter the infinite abyss, the endless sea of pure information. This cd is a spell to open the gates of knowledge, to invoke a transformation, facing the challenges and embracing the rewards. Compiled by Filter, this cd contains new tracks from Megalopsy, Frantic Noise and Pandora's Box from the Argentina side, Ghreg On Earth, Cerebral Factory, Encephalopatycis and Polyphonia as the international guests.     V/A Bestiary (DPRCD004)

     

    Bestiary is a collection of interdimensional beings done by z1p aka Frantic Noise. Through a feline and wild exploration, this cd is a psychedelic journey representing the alien dissection process, which includes being taken out of the planet, being upgraded by these strange beings and taken back to earth with the knowledge that is esentially transformative. This cd will have On the argentina side new tracks of Frantic Noise and his collaborations with Collapse and the new artist Will O Wisp, as well as Megalopsy, on the international side there will be tracks from Kashyyk from Mexico, Arabali, side project of

    Arahat and Mubali, Audiosex from Romania and the new artists from Serbia, Metamorphose and Sattwa. This cd is scheduled to be released on August, more information coming soon.

    Dark Prisma is transforming!

     

    Dark Prisma y Transition have united once again for a new transformation where each label will represent one side of the coin. Dark Prisma Records will dedicate to the dark side of psytrance, looking for intense and psychedelic sounds for the night time, the first release will be the full album of Frantic Noise, under the name The Nordland Orchestra, and also a new compilation which will feature international and Argentinian artists. Transition recordswill dedicate to the more bright side, releasing full on, progressive and chill out beats, like the Pragmatix debut album, and also Jangala, the downtempo project from Filter and Pragmatix.

     

    With this new alliance we keep promoting psychedelic, original and intense music, in all possible directions and dimensions, looking for new sounds to melt your mind and shake dancefloors in Latin America and the rest of the world.

    Just wanted to let you know we will in Europe this summer between july and september. We will start in Germany and we will arrive to attend the

    Full Moon festival.
