A long time ago in a galaxy far far away.. the atomizer sound system partied long & hard.. Ron, Dave & Dill went on to rock the underground scene in sheffield and beyond with countless free parties, and at Headcharge, Jackhammer, Mobile Dogwash, Dionysus, Karma and Planet Zogg.. now they’re back with friends from 20 years of partying for a monster 4 room clash of mindwarping beats, hipshaking sounds & cosmic visuals!!

***THE FUTURE***
This will be the last regular Zogg for the foreseeable future- after that we'll be stopping doing monthly/bi-monthly parties… but we're not quite hanging up our headphones and UV drapes - as we'll still be doing one offs and collaborations (We're in talks just now with the Plug for a summer event).
Those behind Zogg have been putting on parties most months for over 12 years (11 with Zogg), we've all got other things going on in our lives, so we all just needed a bit of a change. Its been a great decade thanks to all the Zoggers, DJs, live acts, crew & everyone at Plug.. but its time to move on… but we're not finished yet..

Thats weird - there's no colour tags deliberately used ( I dont think I've ever deliberately used them in 15 years of forum usage!) - its just standard plain text cut & pasted with some bold for headers. Does it automatically convert to colour tags?

THE STORY
Planet Zogg launched into earth orbit in September 2000 as an intimate after hours in a dodgy bikers bar in Sheffield in the north of england.. Dill & Greg Zogg, inspired by events from the 90s, aimed to throw a “proper” party mixing up the genres with full on cosmic visuals in a friendly fun environment and.. a decade.. over 100 events.. 8 venues.. a record label.. gigs around the world.. a sheffield star front cover story involving the Dalai Lama.. later and Zogg is still going strong with recent multi roomed parties drawing over a thousand zoggers!!
The Zogg dance floor soundtrack has evolved as the years have gone by from the original acid trance/techno trance sound through psychedelia and techno to its current joining of the musical dots: from techno.. to psy.. to breaks.. "Will it rock the dancefloor?" being the main criteria for any track, DJ or live act.. The music on this CD represents the sounds you'll hear every month at Plug with fresh exclusive tracks from the Zogg extended family.. We hope that you'll enjoy them as much as we have.

PLANET ZOGG teams up with DUSK 'TIL DAWN to throw a Halloween Monster Mash from Beyond the Stars all nighter at our fave underground venue THE NIGHT KITCHEN (fka DLS).
In the ZOGG room we've got cutting edge mind warping psychedelia from MONK3Y LOGIC & SABRETOOTH live and direct. DUSK 'TIL DAWN get on some zombie breaks and bass action with YING N YANG, KOSTAS G, EXTRA SPECTRUM and EL GRIN. In the DISCO OF DOOM we've got some ghoulishly funky party tunes from MR MEERKAT, ARNIVORE, GANDHI WARHOL and the Professor of Pop DR CHILL.
