ASTRAL PROJECTION IN POLAND
05-092 Sound System and Soundfobia.org are pleased to invite to the event:
EVERYTHING BEGAN WITH THE SILENCE
which will take place on the 26th of April, 2008, in the M25 club in Warsaw (Poland).
The three scenes will present a broad spectrum of the electronic music.
The PSY-stage will present a mixture of psychedelic sounds and its main guest this night will be Astral Projection from Israel.
The TECH-stage will provide you with pure techno – from hard, through UK, to acid techno.
The HC-stage will be a straight-from-hell mixture of different types of core music.
About Astral Projection:
The story of the foundation of Astral Projection is surely not a common one. Avi Nissim and Lior Perlmuter first met at elementary school at the age of nine. Lior started working with synthesizers at the age of eleven and two years later formed his first group under the name Paradox. Even earlier Avi had already started DJing and performing in heavy industrial bands around Israel. In 1989 Lior and Avi first teamed up. Avi was already a well-known DJ (playing Acid, Techno, New Bit etc.). They created their first group and named it SFX (short for sound effects). They started doing gigs in all underground clubs around Israel and made their first breakthrough in 1991 with their single that came out in Belgium. Then they went to the USA , but Avi came back to Israel and started doing his carrier in music on his own. In 1994, he started again his cooperation with Lior. At the same time they signed up with Phonokol and released a CD with great success. In 1995, they started traveling around Europe and this made them even more popular with a wider audience. They were also working on their new album ‘Trust in Trance vol.2’. This time, however, they teamed up with their old friend Yaniv Haviv and released the album as Astral Projection. It became very popular among the public from Israel and Europe. Yet they became really famous after the release of ‘Trust in Trance vol.3’ as it made them become the kings of psychedelic trance worldwide. In the meantime, Yaniv left the band, while Avi and Lior continued releasing tracks and albums that are legendary till today. At that time they also began their world tournee that will bring them for the first time to Poland, on the 26th of April.
