  2. Dear all

after a number of 'major' differences The Bubble Club has parted company with The Custard Factory

however, all is not lost and we have relocated to The Sanctuary - which is 2 minutes away from The Custard Factory. you have to walk past The Sanctuary to get to The Custard Factory !!!

it will be quite easy to redirect any strays on May 13th to our new home !

    the venue details are :

The Sanctuary, Digbeth High Street, Digbeth, Birmingham B5 6DY

the good news is that -

the main room is bigger (on March 11th the main room was getting very cramped)

    the dance floor is bigger

the stage is significantly higher/wider/bigger - and has an 'organ' as a backdrop (The Sanctuary used to be a Civic Hall many years ago)

we will be hiring in more lights and using a dedicated light engineer

we will be using more decor and once again hiring in someone specifically for this purpose

rooms 2 and 3 are bigger

the capacity of the venue is 1568 so this gives us the scope to grow and develop

on a negative note we are now running 10pm til 6am (rather than 9 til 6) and we are only able to use 3 rooms rather than 4

however, the positives far outweigh the negatives and we are looking forward to working with The Sanctuary

you can still 'reserve' tickets on our 'paying guest list' by calling the information line on

    07989 253881

the revised details for the night are as follows

take care and thank you for your support

    0121 693 6333 £15.00 on the door - advance tickets available

The Bubble Club returns from the long grass with 'three rooms of music & mayhem' in which the boundaries of dance and electronica are pushed to breaking point .......... Toby Marks (aka Banco De Gaia) is a musician, producer, composer and label owner who has followed his own creativity without compromise. The result is music which not only offers an opinion but is intelligent enough not to forget the dance floor. Having allegiance to psychedelic and alien obsessed trance/techno, Eat Static are sure to deliver an 'out of body' experience. Man With No Name was one of the first UK artists to make psychedelic/goa trance and has grown to become one of the biggest names on the circuit. Unbelievably, his first ever live show in Brmingham. Unmissable !!!!!!!!!!

Room One .................. ‘Techno, psy trance and tribal beats’

Banco De Gaia (live) Eat Static (live) Man With No Name (live AND DJ sets) Chris Organic (DJ set) Will Dogon (Stereo Chemistry - DJ set) Dark Angel (Project Ozma/Psycle - DJ set)

Room Three - 'minimal beats/warm electronica/weird experimentation fused with ambient and chill out grooves' courtesy of The Brum Creative ............... der stromfluß (live) (Droning-On Records) Ochre (live) (Toytronic Records) Ma (live) (Experimental Seafood Records) Pemalas (DJ) Loopz (DJ) Monolab (DJ) Chairmaker (DJ)
