    Title: Form Follows Function

    Label: http://www.iono-music.com

    Date: 13.08.2012

As modern architects envisioned, the structure of an object should primarily

be based upon its intended function. Therefore, Piet Kaempfer and Ralf Dietze,

aka Protonica, the architects of this creation, decided that each brick, each

curve and angle should be built with a lot of thought, love and devotion. Every

piece of sound you will hear vibrating through your ear canals has been specially

designed from scratch, and was tested under the highest levels of professionals.

Thus, Form Follows Function is not like most albums which gets produced and

released for the sake of being released, it is exactly the opposite intention –

to deviate from the factory like music that surrounds us and craft a form that

was thoroughly thought of before, while and after it was conceived.

Form Follows Function is divided into 9 different functions, which were modeled

into 9 different forms that will suit its desired function. However, the function is

flexible and dynamic, and enables each person that listens to the album to adjust

his own prefixed functions and slide into a liquid amorphous ever changing entity.

This album is the second masterpiece from Protonica, which comes 5 years after

their debut album Search, which was released in 2007. Now it seems that the

search for their own style is finished, and the time to dive deep and explore the

next stages of their sound has come.

After 5 years of refining and crystalizing their sound, they preserved their old Acid

influences, while combining new elements of Progressive and Psychedelic Trance.

Dietze and Kaempfer followed the function of their name - Protonica - which means

positive charge, and always had the dance floor in mind in order to tell hypnotizing

stories which will enchant every person. The guys have collaborated with other

superb artists such as Liquid Soul, aka Nicola Capobianco, on the track Floating Point,

and another exquisite joint venture where they marked their point of view on Ace Ventura,

aka Yoni Oshrat, and Rocky's, aka Roy Tilbor, track Serotonin Overdose.

    Title: Carrots & Stick Vol.2

    Label: http://www.iono-music.com

    Date: 23.07.2012

Our story began 3 years ago, as the first episode of Carrots and Stick was

released and compiled by CUBIXX, AKA Matthias Sperlich. Most of the heroes

from the first story have moved on to different plots, however, a sequel was

in need in order to preserve the magical flavor of the first edition. Therefore

new heroes had to be summoned by the grand magician Cubixx, only this time

they multiplied, so the new version had to be divided to 2 parts: Carrots and Stick.

The first part contains a superb collective of combined supreme talent such as

Motion Drive, Invisible Reality, E-Clip, Time in Motion, Egorythmia, Funky Dragon,

Side Effects, Helber Gun and Sonic Entity. They have prepared the surface and

spiced the atmosphere each with his own special ingredient. But just when your

appetite starts to accelerate you realize that, hey, there is another main course,

and it is just as tasty.

The second part introduces a whole new set of high scale masters who arouse

your glands and stir up any sense of logical sensation you used to have. This crew

contains maestros such as Timeless, Osher, Cymbalta, Space Hypnose vs. Static

Movement, Impact, Optiloop, Invisible Reality, Lish and Mindwave.

We can try and use different allegories, metaphors, allusions, oxymoron, symbolism,

paradoxes and even irony, but none of these literary techniques would be able to

capture the overwhelming pleasure that will dominate each one of your senses.

After all, Cubixx's new composition was carefully collected from the finest crops.

Therefore, you must realize by now that the only option left for you is to surrender

to this indescribable bliss, and stop trying to comprehend Carrots and Stick vol. 2

through words. Just listen and the rest will follow.

    Tracklisting

    Title: Energy

    Label: http://www.iono-music.com

After two years of hard work, the danish brothers Thomas & Leslie Cowan,

a.k.a Time in Motion have finally released their debut album – Energy.

Since the beginning of their project, they have tried to create more than

one style of progressive trance, backed up with their musical experience

from throughout the years, which is something they wanted to continue

with on this album. One of the most important things in Time in Motion's

new creation, is to try and pick the tracks carefully, in order to enrich the

auditory trip to a wider collection of harmonic and melodic stories, which

    will delight all tastes.

Like a growing tree in an empty space, music expands its roots deep in

every one of us. We were born with the wonderful gift of hearing, which

allows us to use our ears, to listen and enjoy music, with tones of melodies

and beats to follow. Music can fill up any empty space by creating an

    energy of unique sound.

The title Energy was therefore chosen, because Thomas & Leslie believe

that there is a link between Trance music and energy. After all when you

go to a party, or sit at home and listen to Trance music, it creates an

energy inside the body and soul, full of vibrations and stories, to give

the listener good memories that can be remembered for the rest of his

    or her life.

The album contains 9 tracks, which vary in feeling, tone and excitement,

while trying to explore the Progressive Trance realms of good Energy.

So be well prepared for the summer festivals and parties, or update your

stereo with some new pumping basslines and rhythmic melodies, by adding

this debut album from Time in Motion to your collection.

Through this Progressive journey, allow the music to flow into your body

    and mind.

Whether we like it or not, change is part of evolution. Certain traits and models

of behaviour are thus preserved, mutated and adjusted to the current environmental

conditions. Perhaps one of the most ancient human remnants is dancing, and

while the rhythm to which it occurs might have changed, the essence is kept.

This piece of historical documentation will reveal the most updated version of

the soundtrack of modern ecstatic dancing, otherwise known as Alterswing.

The author of this evolutionary episode is Nikola Gasic, aka Sonic Entity, from

Belgrade, Serbia. After a decade of involvement in various positions within the

Progressive & Psychedelic Trance scene, he decided it was time to make his

own unique musical mark. Moments before his debut album Twister is released,

we get a fraction of his talent in this irresistible EP.

It is always important to present the main idea of a concept, despite the fact

that it might seem like most people are already familiar with it. Therefore,

Sonic Entity introduces his version of electronic dynamic movement, which he

terms Alterswing. This new and improved dancing method can only be applied

with his distinct sound. Even when others, such as Nerso, are trying to propose

their own Science, he is altering the meaning so it will fit into his own doctrine.

While others might be exposed to a Sub Pressure from the attention and magnitude

of such a project, Sonic Entity keeps his cool and manages to project serenity

    and energetic persona.

The human race tuned itself to a certain frequency a long time ago, and since

then it seems to be stuck on it. This sound wave has become a conventional

way of interacting between humans, and most of them never thought there

might be other layers of communications yet to be discovered. However, certain

types of music developed a unique method to uncover this ability, with a strict

selection of perfect sound combination a Vibrational Frequency was invented.

This innovation was about to change everything we know. Are you ready to be

    tranceformed?

The man who is behind this move is Marios Karakasidis, also known as Inner State,

from Thessaloniki, Greece. Inner State refined his technique during his music studies

in the UK in 1999, only to upgrade them through mixing as a DJ in 2004. 2 years

after that he started to brew his own frequency and when he became part of the

Iono Music family in 2009, the recipe was perfect.

Inner State's journey of exploring other layers of sound began with a deep investigation

through Vibrational Frequencies. It took a while to experiment and realize that the

Progressive Trance tunes he made needed a touch of Dub Step to complete the first

stage of the expedition. Later he invited Aqualize, aka Vladislav Koumpatidis and Tasos

Koinis, in order to continue with the revelations that were just discovered and add

another layer. Their immediate reaction to yet another realm found was saying this is

Our Own Realities. After such a tilting experience there was no way to come back.

Therefore, Inner State decided to try yet another voyage along with Sonic Sense,

aka Igal Yakobuv. Without boundaries or constraints they have managed to reach

Higher Dimensional Space in which they unleashed all their creative forces.

Our concept of time is socially constructed as linear. We divide it into past,

present and future. It's hard for us to imagine that we can leap from one period

to another, to skip, forward the parts which we do not like, and Reverse and

play on repeat the parts that we love. If we would be able to control our time,

would it make us happier, or stuck in an endless loop? Well, then at least make it

    a good loop.

Marios Seraidaris from Greece has a dual identity under the names Progenitor and

Reverse. His background as a guitar player expanded his musical diversity and

enabled him to explore the deepest realms of sound engineering. In this EP you

can her his musical exploration, alongside variations of his music.

Our time travel begins with a Reverse turn towards a place which needs a proper

farewell. Klopfgeister, aka Thorsten Paul, decided he needs to say Good Bye Goa,

and through a Reverse treatment he was able to depart in the way he wanted.

Afterwards… or was it before? Progenitor wanted to ponder about Soundreflex

and had to Reverse his initial notions to figure it out properly. Then it seemed like

the End of the Line, but it was a 2 stages end; the first part was rearranged by

Time in Motion, aka Leslie & Thomas Cowan, which created a time warp that

sucked you inside. The other part was reorganized by Loopstep, aka George

Kopelakis, in order to stretch the feeling of the End of the Line, and make it

    the never ending story.

They say there is no one clear beginning, no place that can be tagged as

the first place, the birth of a movement, of an era. However, one cannot

ignore the evidence, the rumors, the stories, the memories and the pictures,

this place might not have the proper documentations and certificates, but it

has been and always will be a legend – Koh Phangan.

X Shade aka Michalis Yamakis, from Greece discovered this magical place recently,

and knew he found a theme for his next creation. X Shade was born in 2006, and

the fact that Yamakis was a mechanical engineer gave him a huge head start that

enabled him to jump into the Progressive Trance water much faster. After shaping

his own style backed with fat and tricky baselines, rhythmic percussions, wizzy

grooves and self-inspired melodies, he released some gems at Iono Music, and

this is a brand new edition from him.

When you first come to Koh Phangan you have to take a big breath, the history

that is absorbed in the sand and roads is hard to digest at first. Only the proper

bass line can help you adjust to this environment, and ease you through this

new dimension. But if it is clarity you were looking for, than you are in for a

surprise, because it is pure Hallucination. The fluorescent vibration will slowly

creep into your blood cells and help you realize and say 'this is Where I'm Flying,

and I don't want to come back'.

    Title: Concept Of Freedom

    Label: http://www.iono-music.com

    Date: 10.04.2012

    Posted Image

We live in a paradox. The more liberties we achieve, the more constraints

we have to cope with. The more options we have, the more confused we get.

The Concept of Freedom seems so natural and over used, we tend to

overestimate its actual presence in our existence. So are we freer than before?

Are we happier because we are freer? It seems like while we are intoxicated by

all the things we can do in our modern era, we backslide into a comfort zone,

while forgetting there is much work ahead of us. We might have more rights in

legislations, but along the way we lose the rights to many other things, we open

one door, and close many others. Reality offers us limited access to freedom; luckily,

music opens endless opportunities, thus enabling fulfillment of the true meaning

    of The Concept of Freedom.

In order to help you get closer to this desired state of consciousness Mindwave,

aka Anton Maiko, brewed a third creation that will serve as a mediator to elevate

your mortal particles towards freedom. Maiko originated from Russia, and moved

to Israel in 1991 when he was 6 years old. After a few years of experimenting

with electronic music, he decided to go professional, and went to study in BPM

Music School. When he graduated he released a few tracks that attracted much

attention by various labels such as Phonokol, Iono Music, Joof and Yellow Sunshine

Explosion. Mindwave released his first album Escape from Reality in 2009, and his

second album Awaken a year after – both in Phonokol. In between he dazzled many

minds in endless events such as O.Z.O.R.A festival, Vuuv Experience, Spiritual Healing,

Aurora, Trishula, Mystika and the list is long. Always trying to upgrade and perfect

his sound, he moved to the Iono Music family, and from here, the sky is the limit.

Like every complex concept, the Concept of Freedom also eases your way through

an Intro. However it was not design to dwell upon, but just get into the proper

state of mind. After a while you will enter a Light of Loss, which will separate every

atom of your body into tiny light particles that floats through space. What seemed

to be Simple Moves in the past are now much more complex and hard to manipulate

with the soft singing and swiping melodies. This is exactly why you might need a

Guiding Voice to help you navigate through this confusing phase. It will be a bumpy,

funky road, but during the experience you will realize that you had the power Within

You all along. It might cause occasional Levity, that you feared previously, only to

discover that in the New Day, you actually kind of like it. But air is not the only place

you explore; now it is time for the Underwater realm, its enchantment is deep and

uncontrollable. The isolation of the dive helps you analyze the Concept of Freedom

without any disturbances, and ponder upon the multiple answers you suddenly

understand. It summons the Deepest Thoughts that arouses any Mindwave,

and this particular one creates the perfect combination for such an astonishing

    realization.

An important part of life is taking everything in the right proportion.

But what exactly is the right proportion? How do we know we have

a balanced perception of each aspect of our life? In reality there is

probably not one answer to these questions, but perhaps we should

accept the fact that part of reaching some sort of balance is realizing

there is no such thing as the perfect proportion. Maybe if we understand

that perfection does not exist, we embrace that having Almost Everything

    is also great.

In order to absorb this message we summoned an Impact, aka Andrey Panow,

who will help us reach this state of mind. Panow received his scope of musical

proportion while playing the lead guitar at various metal bands. Along the way

he composed the entire band member's material and inhaled the variety of

    musical opportunities available.

To receive the proper Impact there was a need for a guiding mantra -

Freedom on the Earth, which will ignite the complex concept that will spread

on planet earth. After the process has begun, it was clear that the transfer

of the musical grooveness was successful. However, it was Almost Everything,

because no operation such as this reveals all the weapon at once. Therefore,

a joint venture with Space Hypnose was formed to create the extravaganza

finale along with The Sound of Thunder.

    Title: Talking About Love E.P.

    Label: http://www.iono-music.com

    Date: 13.03.2012

The past decade has raised much attention to feelings, and the way

that they are socially constructed. Do we really develop emotions and

a sense of feeling towards someone or something in the same way? Is

there a universal agreement about how a specific emotion should be

expressed, felt and received? People are Talking About Love, but how

do people interpret this word? Do we really choose who we love, or are

we affected by our parents, our friends, movies, books, colleagues,

advertisements and even special events like Valentine's Day, which

tell us how love should be? If love is so influenced by our environment,

is it like any other product or commodity we desire? And if so, what is

the price you are willing to pay?

Static Movement, aka Shahar Shtrikman, decided to start investigating

these questions by trying to stimulate your feelings and evaluate your

response. Shtrikman is a 27 years old Ukranian, who now resides in Israel.

He already began his research through the piano and then sound engineering,

and now built a special methodology for this EP, by starting slowly and

gradually becoming more and more powerful.

The experiment is titled Talking About Love, but in fact won't involve

much talking but will include Progressive Trance electro shocks that will

gradually penetrate the inner tissues through special electrodes to the

brain. The melodic touch will immediately have a combined sensation of

Impact, aka Andrey Panov, and a Fairy Tale, which was remodeled by

Solarix, aka Sahar Yona. Then some new vibrations started to Sykick

(Shlomi Mizrahi), they were forceful and intense, thus creating along

with Static Movement a huge Mystery. However, for the last stage of

the experiment Dohak, aka Michael Kartashev, decided to bring an

intervening instrument created by joined forces with Static Movement

and decided to code name it Spaceship. The results are stored in the

genetic code of this piece, and can only be open after full listening.

Emotions are perhaps one of the most primordial remnants we have to remind

us that we are part of nature. In the last century, technology progressed and

created a mediator for many of our functions. Even emotions now have specific

graphic pictures called Emotics, to signal to the other person how we feel.

Modern Emotions are turning into pictures and animations, while somehow

along the way people forgot that the best emotion indicator is music.

Funky Dragon, aka Igor Cuculovic from Serbia, realized this distorted reality, and

tried to contribute in his own very progressive way. After some time of Dj'ing,

he decided to go pro and went to study Audio Engineering properly; his first

musical creation was released in 2004. A year later Cuculovic released his first

album The Algos at Synergetic Records and in 2007 he joined the Iono family

to release his 2nd album Massive.

So the Funky Dragon decided to do something about the problematic nature

of the Modern Emotions. He realized that some warmth is needed in this

mechanical alienated realm, and so he blew fire from his mouth and made

a rumble. It was a hard time for him, as he realized animals around him are

suffering from Days of Insomnia due to lack of warmth and affection. The

air was filled with hard, intense and growling whispers. However, the

Funky Dragon knew that it just a question of time, before the

Sundown Answers will appear, thus bringing a sense of hope and

    elevation.

In an era where rational models of actions are appreciated, we learn that being

in Complete Control is important to our lives. We are told that through planned

time schedules, lists and strategies we will be able to achieve our goals and dreams.

We are told that losing our minds or following our emotions is a senseless act that

might lead to unwanted results. But what happens when you want to be free

    from Complete Control?

Side Effects, aka Yarden Yogev & Tzahi Geller, from Israel are perfect for this project.

Both of them have started to toy with production about a decade ago, but went

professionally about 5 years ago as Geller studied at BPM sound school, and Yogev,

worked at various Mix studios. They decided to take their good long lasting friendship

along with their acquired expertise to the next level, and about a year ago formed

    the Side Effects project.

What might have appeared as minor Side Effects of losing Complete Control, continued

into a huge turbulence of electromagnetic fields that started to create unpredictable

circumstances. The notorious Night Creatures crept into people's minds, trying to squeeze

irrational behaviours that might create Progressive anarchy. Some have started to feel weird

sensations which they have interpreted as Paranoia, but it was too soon to tell them that

what they have experienced was the reality. After all, reality is what happens when you let

go, when you let yourself free from Complete Control.

As time moves on, the western world becomes more attached to objects and

brands. People consume more things, that they believe bring some kind of

symbolic power. Whether it is a new mobile phone, computer and even new

cloths from a famous designer – they somehow manage to bring happiness,

assurance and a higher self-esteem. Many of these people are not aware of

other sources of power, the less physical ones, and yet much more influential,

the kinds that bring Active Power to your life – Music.

Shyisma, aka Elia Cantelli, from Italy, decided make it clear, in case some people

were lost in translation of the message. He started to build his Progressive Trance

Empire more than a decade ago, along with Diego Ferri. They have gone each

his own way, while on the way Cantelli became deeply involved in the Italian

Trance scene. He is known as a promoter, Dj and even created under different

names such as Mittag and Nibiro. After a successful Virus EP at the Iono Music

family last year, we had no doubt it would not be the last collaboration.

This time Shyisma took over the Active Power, and made a clear example of

how to be empowered by a firm bass line and an enchanting melody. This

kind of power is not physical, therefore, it cannot be touched, it is floating

in the Air Flow. You can breathe it, feel it and vibrate with it, thus realizing

    how material is unnecessary. Being rich does not mean you have to have money;

you just need to uplift your Spirit, with atmospheric whispers wrapped with

    rhythmic bubbles.

In the old days, when you wanted to open a door you needed a key.

Each door would normally have only one key that fits, and only this key

could reveal what's behind it. However, these days we do not need to

cling on physical objects to help us open doors, especially when it comes

    to the Doors of Soul.

Invisible Reality, aka Abramov Shamil and Sorin Igor, from Israel, decided

to open the doors of your soul, with their music. However the key that

they have developed, is suitable for different kinds of doors, and is in

fact morphing and changing constantly. In this particular EP, they have

used a different strategy to form their key, and its liquid and chaotic

form is tricky to track down.

A new year means new collaborations, and so, Invisible Reality have joined

forces with Static Movement, in order to achieve Cybernetic Evolution of

the ultimate key. This key is made of penetrating basses along with the

finest melodies that have the ability to open any door. Once they have

reached the Doors of Soul, it was much clearer to see the different reality

that they have brought with them. It started to spread all over with bouncy

beats that shook the whole construction of the place. Although she has a

lot of experience in opening doors, and different sets of keys, Alice realized

this was not a Dream. In fact the Alice Dream was so real that she started

to get confused and try to find the rabbit hole again. Unfortunately for her,

there was no sight for it.

People use different kinds of Catalyzers in order to reach happiness,

or at least a moment of good mood. Alcohol, illegal substances, sex,

shopping, and many other techniques to induce positive feelings of

ecstasy. The main problem using those things is the dependency

you have in money or other people to be able to obtain them.

Sometimes we tend to forget that the most available, effective

and easy to purchase substance is underneath our nose –

    good music.

Dejan Jovanovic, also known as Lyctum, from Belgrade, Serbia,

had reached this realization a long time ago, since he first started

to create music, around 7 years ago. In his musical career he toyed

with another alias named Prospect, which turned to the more

Full-Onish realms, but after a few years he reached his nirvana

in Progressive Psytrance. In a special edition for the New Year,

he joins forces with Iono Music to create a Catalyzer which will

give you the proper substance to begin the year with!

We decided to skip the foreplay and go straight to the Catalyzer

itself; after all, a new year requires heavy artillery. With pounding

beats we inject the ingredient into your veins, the results are

immediately recognizable. Your Impulse to dance, jump around

and smile, until every muscle in your mouth starts to hurt, will

occur spontaneously, without any ability to resist. The end of

this momentary trip, is Lyctum's version of Aqualize's Land of

2 Suns, because if there is anything we learned from all this,

is that good music is all around us, sometimes we create it

and sometimes we reshape it. All you have to do is reach

    Title: Christiania Selection

    Label: http://www.iono-music.com

    Date: 20.12.2011

In times like these, when every part of the world is protesting against the

governments and corporation, you can still find one island of sanity – Christiania,

in Copenhagen, Denmark. Freetown Christiania is a self-proclaimed autonomous

neighborhood, and the closest example we have of a group of anarchists, who

managed to create an independent society. Christiania was a deserted military

base, which was squatted in 1971 by various people who you could call hippies,

freaks or outsiders. Their vision did not remain in empty slogans like many other

hippies across the world; they decided that action is stronger. Thus, they took

the psychedelic idea of seeing beyond the normative boundaries, and broke the

established pattern of how people should live. Along with meditation, Yoga and

other spiritual practices, it is no wonder that Goatrance found its way into Christiania

to, almost from the very beginning. Stefan Gøransson, aka Flexus / Dj Flex, who

was born and raised in this permanent autonomous zone, decided it was the right

time to share the Christiania Selection, and perhaps give some ideas and hope to

the global protesters that change and a better future is possible – it is in your hands!

In order to get you in the mode of Christiania, we begin with our Danish representatives,

including the man behind this compilation, Flexus, together with Time in motion, aka,

the brothers Thomas and Leslie Cowan. This lethal trio is hard to stop these days, and

'I got to' say it is one dose you wouldn’t want to stop consuming. After we entered

the Progressive realms that swept us to an autonomous state of mind from the Danes,

we move to Xshade, aka Michalis Yamakis, from Greece, to take us back to where society

was invented. Xshade takes us to 'Sexofrenic' state, where only the bass rules and the

beat goes on. Then Liquid Space, aka Denny Seidewitz, joins the selection, with an offer

to make an 'Offbeat Meeting' which was accepted with much enthusiasm. After all, such

an offbeat melody and atmospheric melody is something which is always needed, especially

in this unique compilation. Sonic Sense, aka Igal Yakubov(also known as Timeless), &

Time in Motion take us to the 'Red Zone', which means we are in for some serious shit,

but the good shit. Red is always a dominant and strong color, and the Zone that

The Cowan brother and Yakubov take us to is a powerful seductive sense of bloody

good Progressive Trance. It was time for Static Movement, aka Shahar Shtrikman & Impact,

aka Andrey Panov, pull us down to dive to the 'Atlantic Spirit' and explore other kinds of

liberations from society, gravity and sound.

Some people take a break when they reach the middle, but as we mentioned above,

Christiania Selection is against all the formulated models of action, and so we do not believe

in breaks, rest or intermission. Therefore, Ace Ventura, aka, Yoni Oshrat was a perfect to

help us step into the next phase of this trip with '138' ways to get there. It is no wonder

why an Ace always wins in every game, because the hypnotic and yet complex music he

makes is a sure bet each time. We continue with Infinity, aka Nick Karamalakis, who gives

us an illusion of a commercial break and yet gives us all the reasons to 'Keep on Walking'

with a smile. However, this wandering has a purpose, but not in the capitalistic materialistic

manner, because approaching such a sacred phenomenon always requires some kind of

awareness. After all, it is 'The Last Jedi' we are talking about, and what other artist can get

us closer to him than Motion Drive, aka, Philip Guillaume. The wisdom of the judi is passed

to us in the ritual dance of superb Progressive Trance that only few can resist. The end of

such a journey can only lead to Yotopia, also known as Tomer Dayan & Yonatan Rimon,

who bring us 'Cometic' to wrap the visionary revolution that this musical piece tried to do.

With their known talent to convert even the extremist to their side, Yotopia gives us the

proper catharsis we all need for such an intense and magnificent expedition.

Reality is temporary, but we have the power to change it, Christiania Selection is just

an attempt to wake you up and show you that it is possible, it is in your hands.

    Title: Phrase - A

    Label: http://www.iono-music.com

    Date: 05.12.2011

In modern times, art was perceived as a pure unit that represents a cohesive

and universal idea. But then Postmodernism appeared, and tried to challenge

these definitions of art and stretch them in order to break the rigid borders

that Modernism has created. Postmodernism introduced the term of collage,

which means taking different unites and assemble them together into one

piece.Phrases in music can be seen as a kind of collage; separate units that

    combined together create a track.

After some time of polishing and perfecting his sound, Ritmo, aka Dubi Dagan,

has decided to take a different approach for his second album. Forget what

you know about albums, and take a look to the future. Trying to experiment

with innovative directions of expressing his art, Ritmo decided to take the

concept of Phrases and separate them into two phrases – Phrase A & Phrase B.

Each Phrase consists of a collage of Ritmo's latest artistic creation and expresses

different moods. Phrase A, is the melodic, happy and sunny side of Phrases.

It begins with 'Follow Me', which is a seductive psychedelic tune that signals you,

as the sample will say - to leave everything behind and follow this revolutionary

process. After you managed to pass the first stage, you will start having 'Big Eyes'.

This is a natural procedure in Phrase A, and comes with reinforcement of Motion Drive,

aka Philip Guillaume. Having 'Big Eyes' helps you realize the positive side of life and start

dancing in a manic uncontrolled manner to show it. If you think that it will help you

distinguish between a 'Dream & Reality' then you might be expecting a surprise.

Because this trip was designed exactly for destroying all the predictable assumption

we have, and the best way is to embrace the notion that a dream and reality can

happen simultaneously. For the final phase of Phrase A, we must 'Imprint' you. After

all, passing through such a musical turbulence needs a final proof that you are eligible

to go to the next stage, to Phase B. But in order to leave a mark that will give the

proper grounds for this kind of 'Imprint', Ritmo called another expert for the job –

Zen Mechanics, aka Wouter Thomassen. Together, they create the finale that both

closes a Phrase and opens another one, using their special thumping base line and

    sweeping rhythms.

There are some moments that are amazing, they are so incredible we would like

to find an imaginary Press Hold button, in order to make them last forever.

Unfortunately time is not acting upon our command, and we have to take each

moment as it is. However, listening to music which brings us to these unique

moments of bliss, can be controlled. So we would totally understand if you will

put the new EP - Press Hold from E-Clip, on repeat.

E-Clip, aka Marko Radovanovic, is visiting the Iono Music realms, to share a gem

from his arsenal. Radovanovic, originates from Belgrade, and despite his young

age, 25, he has been creating Psychedelic Trance for almost 10 years now.

His instant infatuation with Psytrance has drawn him to be a part of this new

world that was revealed to him.

After a year of on and off boiling and stirring the tracks, it was time to set

them free. Press Hold is more Progressive orientated, and yet the rhythm

and pace makes us forget these rigid definitions and just flow. This float is

a gradual preparation for what comes ahead. Salvia Divinorum is a long journey

that represents the harder, more powerful side of E-Clip. This new hybrid of

Progressive and Psychedelic is bound to capture your ear, and probably leave

an invisible mark that will reappear every time you will search for escapism from

Modern life has brought progress in the human life, with the evolution of

technology and knowledge; we face multiple choices and options in our

everyday life. But at the end, it's always a question of yes or no, if it puts

you On or Off, every technological device depends on this equation. This

is exactly the reason why we don’t need a mathematic equation to know

if the new EP of the ON/OFF track by MUTe will work. Because when 3

lethal components get into one package it can only mean one thing – It's On!

On/Off is the name of the magnificent debut album of MUTe, aka Roy Sason

and Liran Ackerman, which was released in 2009, and also the name of one

of the best tracks from this album. The track is a joint venture of the MUTe's

and Shay Nassi, who is an Israeli electronic artist, who usually focuses on the

more Minimal/Experimental style. This unique combination can be heard

immediately when such a diverse source of influence accumulates into one track.

In the past 2 years since the album has been out, MUTe have been travelling

across the world spreading their magical spells, while releasing several ep's that

manifest their artistic evolution. It was only a question of time until another

extraordinary Israeli artist join the fun, at least for a one time hit…

Ritmo, aka Dubi Dagan, requires little introduction, unless you have been in a

different universe for the past 4 years or so. Rocking the Progressive Psytrance

realms for several of years now, Ritmo has revived new life into the genre with

his unique addictive sound. In this fresh EP, he redesigns the On/Off track of

MUTe and brings it to a different level, which perhaps calls for a new category

to be added – WOW. Ritmo doesn’t leave us many choices but to surrender

to the new adaptation of this already amazing track, and experience the bliss

    of one really good option.

Title: V.A. Forensic Science - Compiled by Egorythmia

    Label: http://www.iono-music.com

    Date: 25.10.2011

In a hot summer day, a crime was made. 9 projects were suspected of

extremely lethal musical components that had the potential to capture

who ever tried to listen to them. All the top detectives across the world

were summoned to try and solve the mystery with Forensic Science.

The first clue led to Mindwave and Sphera, also known as Anton Maiko,

Rami Shalom & Liran Elkayam. These 3 artists have managed to create a

psychedelic and melodic entrance to the investigation, using spacy ingredients

to disguise the 'Perception' of the authorities, a maneuver that seemed

to succeed. The next suspects were Time in Motion, the Danish brothers

Thomas and Leslie Cowan, who used their new 'Black Light' technique to

manipulate the human ear. With a pumping base line and a euphoric

atmosphere, they managed to escape questioning and leave their

mark behind just like true Vikings.

Then the detectives reached Ritmo and Egorythmia, aka Dubi Dagan and

Boban Lazovski, and knew they will be a tough case, with their global

reputation. These two artists have taken the whole plot and 'Spin It'

with a special Progressive method they each developed separately, but

when they made it together – they were invincible. Next on line was Pop Art,

aka Oshri Krispin, who created a 'Sub System' to make a gate way to a parallel

universe with the help of electrifying magnetic waves. After that it was another

hard case, because it was Ace Ventura and Egorythmia, aka, Yoni Oshrat and

Boban Lazovski, who decided to join forces. These two have formed a 'White Tunnel'

that had a natural vacuum mechanism that sucked everyone that was near,

helplessly surrendering to their groove and powerful story.

Nerso, who is known as Dragan Matic, tried to confuse the detective with

his own 'Science', and took the first opportunity he got to disappear. Using

the confusion that was made up till now, Ritree, aka, Dubi Dagan and Alon

Brillant, knew it was the perfect timing to use the 'De Ja Voodo People',

who were a successful laboratory experiment that they were working on

intensively. This new hybrid of melodic Goa sounds, who is bubbling slowly

till eruption, has implication not known to the human race, yet.

Close to the end of the investigation, Static Movement, aka Shahar Shtrikman,

wasn’t planning on giving the detectives an easy life. He reshaped Mute's and

was 'Doing His Magic'. Just when they thought they had it all figured out,

We danced, we laughed, we drank, we jumped, we screamed and shout.

But now the summer is gone, and slowly we start crawling into our shelters,

into ourselves. Autumn is always a time for change, processing all the experiences

we have accumulated during the summer time and move on to the Next Level

of our spiritual being. Better, Smarter, tanner, we peel off our seasonal layer

and become a better version of ourselves.

This transitional period is the perfect time for a remix EP such as 'Next Level'.

This fresh EP made by Infinity, aka Nick Karamalakis, also known as half of the

duo Progenitor, gives you the opportunity to hear how tracks made by superb

artists take a different direction and peel into something new. A different form.

A Greek, a Swedish Trio and a German duo meet together? This is not a beginning

of a joke, but a beginning of a beautiful gathering of great minds. Infinity first

approaches Etnoscope's 'Kaijko' and gives the Swedish-Tribal-Prog his touch of

pumping base and grooveness. Then he takes Haldolium's 'Be Real' and helps

to reveal his interpretation of what's real, leaving no questions asked that his

reality fills you with new energies.

    Tracklisting

    01. Etnoscope - Kaijko (Infinity Remix)

    02. Haldolium - Be Real (Infinity Remix)

Every person would love to experience some sort of time travel.

If it's Marty McFly in 'Back to the Future', Quinn Mallory in 'Sliders',

or the notorious Jean Luc Picard at 'Star trek', the Human, and

sometime inhuman race have always wanted to explore the limits

of time. But while these people used technology to stretch the

time limits, Space Hypnose, aka Michael Mordehayov, uses technology

to create music that might do the same thing.

Space Hypnose, is a 25 years old Israeli guy originally from Azerbaijan,

and is a new discovery in the Psytrance frontiers. He started creating

music when he was 14 years old and didn’t stop since, not even while

he sleeps. Mordehayov has started making Chill-Out and only recently

moved to the Progressive Psytrance planet – Great news for us!

Back in Time EP begins with 'Go Back in Time' and demonstrates the

whole agenda of Space Hypnose – haunting, melodic tunes that transfer

your mind into a different realm. He continues with 'Live my Dreams',

swirling our emotional control and letting us dive into the hypnotic base

that pulls us to mysterious black holes in space. Last but definitely not least,

Space Hypnose joins forces with another talented Israeli artist – Static Movement,

together they bring out the Techy dimension while bringing new fusion of their merger.

    Tracklisting

    01. Space Hypnose - Go Back in Time

    02. Space Hypnose - Live my Dreams

    03. Space Hypnose vs. Static Movement - Positive
