  3. Thanks for the CDA link. That cd you mailed me I can play now when I insert it in my drive. I don't remember how to open windows media player so now I have something to double click.

Most stuff is recorded in wav (if your recorder records at 96kbps or less get a new one... fast... for the original file you'll want at least 320kbps mp3 or better)

Quick google gets http://www.smartwavconverter.com/ it's got a free trial. I'm sure theres at least one free wav-mp3 converter out there. Standard bitrate is 192kbps for mixes... more if you want better quality. IMO Filefront is defenitly a decent filehosting site.

Thank's mate, i'll have to try that, i'm going to download a couple of your mixes tonight, got a few peeps coming round for a smoke. :posford:

  4. Really? Mail please!

Anyway I'm downloading now. Recognise a few of the songs (which are really good) so I think this mix could be good!

[Edit] Make that I would download a non WMA version. Comon... surely 192kbps+ isn't too hard?

My friend, please don't confuse fast with hard.

  6. Hi

Welcome back after TWELVE ****ing days of downtime !!!!!!!!!!

A nasty DSL modem issue this time. The power supply was screwed up, which I couldn't believe at first, until it was tested -deficient-. Then it took one week to order and receive a new dc adaptor.

For once it wasn't the server...

While everyone was trying to spend his/her nights elsewhere than on these boards, I called my friend Manu, the owner of http://www.psysurfeur.com/ and he agreed to share his dedicated server with us. Thanks to him.

    It means 2 things :

    - Psynews will be more reliable and will have a bigger bandwidth :)

    - We may be forced to put some ad (ouch) somewhere to cover the costs. Not sure yet.

There are more details to discuss and we'll study that in detail when Manu is back from the Full Moon festival.

Anyway I'll try to make the migration in August, so you can expect one of downtime then, but i'll warn about that here.

    mars + the mods team

    Glad to see it back.

  7. Wow, thanks for your feedback, i'm very happy.

I thought i would try and end it on a mellower note, but it did drop a bit too much. I've been spinning Hard Trance for about 9 years now but i have been collecting and mixing Goa Trance for around 2 years.

Glad you enjoyed it though. :)
