i bought the Zoo 3 comp blindly and was very sorry to have purchased it. It includes so many bad tracks like the infected - i wish, the "satisfaction" track, "revolution" , ohh and the rest
the only good track on that comp was psychotic micro - frankenstein

Oh thanks!
I didn't even realise i could scroll down lol

Spindrift, do you have a non-flash version of resonantearth? I can only download stuff at work and my pc doesn't have flash on it and i can't install it therefore can't log into your website
Or maybe a link to the files?

Just like to say Nebula Meltdown is awesome and i'm starting to find a lot of very good music from the thixxndixx website!
Deffinatley gonna play some of this stuff next time i DJ somewhere.
Good work

I think somebody forgot to mix in the mellody lines. Very boring stuff. Lacks
soul. Drum sounds are cliched , high end weirdness is conservitive
unimaginative(needs to be super strange for minimal). Bottom end is dull and
too digital. Maybe this might be alright with some decent res tweaked melodies
mixed in a dj set. A bit of classical training never hurt anyone

spiritual antiseptic is good, agressive sounding and powerful.. but really isnt
one of my favourite tracks from hallucinogen, it sounds a bit scratchy and
rough. but i really really like clarity from deep fog, this track is real
trippy, bouncy psytrance. a real mind bender with crystal clear production.
8/10 (and the sleeve looks kick ass! thats how i like psy covers to be )

its alright.
but all tracks seem kind of similar, and a little bit boring. i do like this
album, but i was expecting more melodies.
i got it on vinyl, and it says it has 9 tracks on the cover.. but there only 8
tracks. and i dont know which one is missing.
best tracks (if my tracks are labelled correct) - On the Edge & Keep the
Frequency.

Lemurians - All About Lizzards / Whichcraft
Artist: Lemurians
Title: All About Lizzards / Whichcraft
Label: Shiva Space Technology
Date: 2000
Track listing:
01. All About Lizzards
02. Whichcraft
Review:
What we have got here is something quite good. The style is i guess dark
minimal (about as minimal as x-dream's 'radio') but has got a lot of
psychedelic sounds and twists to feed your ears. Side A "all about lizzards"
is the lesser quality track, but its still interesting. It has a weird
bassline that i dont really like, that continues all the way through, but
apart from that it doesnt get boring. This track has a weird atmosphere
about it aswell, kind of eerie, would be good in the forest (6/10). Side B
"whichcraft" is a really powerful. Again it has a very repetitive
bassline/loop, which if you dont like would probaly ruin the track, but
luckily enough i do like it. Its monotonous but will keep you dancing the
entire time. This is probaly darker in atmosphere than Side A, and is
deffinatley more dancefloor orientated. Very psychedelic and good production
(8/10).

pitty about the production of some tracks, but this is a mad comp.!
i like all tracks, 1 & 2, are loopy and really play with your head. 3, getting
darker.. and really pumping. 4, this is some comical track it will make u
smile for sure. 5, oh my god! this is wicked!.. my favourite neuromotor track
so far.. here we have some true mindbending sounds, and i imagine this would
be a real stormer on the floor. 6, quite dark, less melody.. i dont like this
one very much. 7, full of acid lines and very very energetic.. my favourite
track tim thick has been involved with. 8, finishes off the comp nicely with
more twisted work
i recommend this comp if u are on the border of insanity. 8.5/10

cd1
track1, very tribal and very powerful, nice to begin the cd with track2, i
found very boring, i cant listen to this all the way through. track3, not goa
but still fun to dance with, it has a drum n bass type 'rolling' bassline.
track4, tribal drums and electric sounds, go together well. but not an overly
good track. track5, very very repetitive but i actually enjoy this one. i like
the little drum snares. track6, boring boring! track7, too slow and not enough
energy for my liking. i prefer his DOOF releases. track8, nice for a minimal
track. but nothing special. track9, woohoo! i love it, i usually hate tracks
with guitar but this one is so powerful, and it has VERY VERY good acid
sounds. like a real 303 here. track10, good, alien sounds and fun to listen
to, but not groundbreaking.
cd2
1, not for me! u will hate it unless u like guitars. 2, resonable minimal
sounding track, pretty dark. 3, nice!! very trippy intro with some guy
singing, but i really enjoy this one. 4, really good! some kickass growly
sounds in here, and even a melody that sounds like something from 3dvision
ruined once the guitar starts , and gets too repetitive by the mid-end. 5,
cool squelchy sounds, and the usual quality stuff u would expect from simon.p.
but not a favourite of mine. 6, very good! space cat delivers something quite
special here.. 7, i really enjoy this track, for me it represents a
celebration of human existance searching for E.T life. and the loop that
repeats a lot is very simple but very effective and i would like to hear this
track at midnight under the stars 8, yuck.. i dont like this one at all. 9,
resonable.. but not as good as many of cydonia's other tracks.
overall 7.5/10

quite dissapointed.
very very minimal 1st CD. and not very good at that..
best track Disco slickers - its a feel. most of this stuff i wouldnt even call
psychedelic trance!
2nd CD - nearly as bad, but Johann Bley - Dream, is alright.. quite 'dreamy'
sounding hehe. and Hallucinogen - Miloonium is a fun track.. with a very
weird beginning, and some nice twisted effects. Morphem - Hypnotone(rmx), isnt
as good as the original, but still a good track.
overall 4/10
-
Not good.
i thought this wasnt interesting at all. and u get sick of the tracks very
quickly.
highlights are : Psychonaut - Derwish ( the first few times u hear it, its
nice) Atmos - Bad leutenint (has a chill feel to it, but better than most of
the stuff here) Digital Sun - Space flipper (nice for the acid sounds , and
its good to dance to)
overall 4/10
-
very psychedelic album
i love this old koxbox sound. MUCH better than The Great Unknown, IMO. this
stuff is very innovative and reallys needs u to sit down and have a proper
listen, its a masterpiece. the kind of music that puts u in the mood for
mind-travelling and cosmic stuff, if u know what i mean
all tracks are good! my favourite probaly being #4.
overall 9/10

Good CD.
As the title suggests, its full of Classix! ill talk about the tracks which
stood out for me :
First track cd1, UX - Masters of the Universe, is one of my favourites on the
CD. With a very powerful metalic sounding melody, i would LOVE to hear this on
a big system. Shakta - Cosmic Trigger, is also very good! to me this track is
a prime example of old goa melodies, it really makes u smile, and is full of
energy. Pleiadians - Headspin, is quite complex sounding, very good quality
music (what else would u expect from pleiadians ) and the sample is used
well, really compliments the buildup. The last track X-Dream & Spiralkinda -
Blah, has a unique start to it. and only gets better and more psychedelic as
it goes. Pretty dark sounding but with a funky melody.
CD2 is more on the minimal side.
Droidlock - Gate 12, is very dark! and very interesting for me (someone who
doesnt listen to much minimal trance)this is quality stuff. Bamboo Forest -
Xplorer probaly isnt on of their best releases, but its still a nice track
with dark haunting sounds. Darshan - Digital Damage, starts out pretty
minimal, but i like the the way this track evolves with cool electric sounds.
Purple - Cascades, is a nice mellow track. really relaxing Avatar - Machine
life, is a very robotic sounding track i think, it suits its name. pretty
dark, with an effective loop.
and MWNN - Teleport(rmx) is of course a classic track, i prefer this to the
original version except for when the bassline shifts key, it makes it sound
very clubby.
overall - 7/10
-
pretty good!
best tracks are #1 waiting for a new life (nice emotion in this tracks
melody),#2 wizard (for the cool acid lines and effective sample, makes u wanna
dance!) #5, Scarab (on of prana's better tracks i think)
overall 7/10
Best bassline?
in General Psytrance
Posted
the bassline change after the break in neuromotor - erotic fantasy towards the end is very brutal and i love it.
i couldn't say i have a favorite though
