as it is quite impossible to define when does acid trance began it is quite impossible to define when goa trance first release was
psychedelic trance is as old as human kind
then you can talk about electrification of guitar, of digitalisation of the sound, of psychedelic rock of the 70's, psyche disco of the mid 70's, new wave, cold wave, indus, gothic, teknorock, aicidhouse, acid trance, goatrance, psytrance etc...
but to say that sfx or eat static were the first project to release "goa trance " is not right
the lsd track from simon existed on DAT under the name pruple ohm and was as old as the previous ones
there is no "beginning" but ever changing mix of styles and subgenres that interpenetrate themselves in a never ending evolution
was there really a big bang of the universe ??? :-)
even if i understand that this topic about first goa release is often asked on isratrance, psynews or any psyche forums...I think without any offences that it is a useless one

mmm.. I've heard this one in Soulclipse, last morning, at the chillout stage. I do not know who was playing right then but he was really good
it begins with the famous words of martin luther king; "I HAVE A DREAM!" this sample booms at the beginning and shakes the person. well it shook me within my trip
the sample is used many times within the track, in morphed and strange ways often.
I'm looking for the track since then, desperately. no one seems to know
you'd make me crazily happy if you happen to help
i have too many tracks to find where it is,, but there is a star sound orchestra (or it is astralasia ? :-)
called "the force" with a sample of mlk saying " i have a dream"
maybe a new version of this old track...

...or you can maybe ask to xavier (solstice), tsuyoshi, mike maguire, or guy sebbag ..they used to collect so many records their opinion may be interesting ! :-)
