  1. Very interesting! Goes to show how much mastering matters. The first version (2012) sounds like tin cans at work to me - completely unappealing. In fact, the color of the sound feels downright unpleasant to my ears. Piercing. The version mastered by Select Project, on the other hand, is great! Warm, broad spectrum sound, with a lovely, earthy kick. I did listen to this on my headphones, though. Might be a different story on a good PA. Speaking of...I had an interesting experience last year. I went to a hi-tech focused festival, and was quite surprised at just how great certain artists, whose production I previously dismissed as computer noise with nonexistent bass frequencies, sounded. Hi-tech really comes into its own when blasted out of an F1 rig. You have to hear it to believe it
