ACE VENTURA (IBOGA,Live) is Yoni Oshrat, a 30-year old Israeli with a rich musical background. After DJ'ing for years, he teamed up with his friend Dj Goblin to form the Children of the doc project which later changed name to PSYSEX - together they released 3 critically-acclaimed full length albums on HOMmega, and played a big part in establishing Israel as one of the most important trance-countries on the globe.
After several years of intense touring, playing at some of the biggest parties and festivals worldwide, Yoni's taste moved more and more towards the slower, groovier side of music though, and from 2006 he is no longer a part of the Psysex project. Instead he has started 2 new projects: SCHATSI, which is an electro-project and of course ,ACE VENTURA. Yoni is fond of all major sides of the progressive scene, and it shines through in his Ace Ventura project, which best can be described as deep, tribal and pumping progressive psytrance - pure dynamite on the dance floor.
SUNCONTROLSPECIES (IBOGA,Live)
Over 45 single releases since 2002, and an acclaimed debut album in mid 2007 shows the SCS project has a long history, and has risen to a truly international level few progressive producers reach. Musically, the sound is in the low-to-mid thirties, with wonderful groove patterns, intelligent sound structures and soaring soundscapes. 2008 has seen some huge exposure into wider markets with track inclusions on John Fleming’s Euphoria, and a Joyce Mercedes Mix CD. Coming soon are releases on Blue Tunes and of course the home label Iboga Records, in CD and Digital formats. Rumour has it we will see a second, follow-up album released in early 2009
NYQUIST (IBOGA,Live)
Aran Gallagher and Ben H formed the Dance Duo Nyquist in early 2005. Originally heralding from NZ the pair are currently working on their Debut full length Album. In just over 2 years Nyquist has already clocked up a bunch of quality releases on Iboga, Plusquam, Iono Music, Blue Tunes Recordings and Sinn Tec Records as well as the Antix remix Cold Night from the Twin Coast remixes. Aran brings his unique world class music production and over 15 years of music experience to the realm of his live and DJ sets. These sets have reached far places such as Universo Parallelo (Brazil), Stargate (Japan), as well as Israel, Switzerland, Hungary, Mexico, UK, and USA. Ben, trained as an audio engineer, has a strong background in breaks, electro and dub, releasing and playing live as Melbourne act Deep Fried Dub and DJ’ing throughout Australia and New Zealand in clubs and all the big festivals; Rainbow Serpent, Eathcore and NZ’s Visionz and The Gathering.

Based in Melbourne, Richie has 20 years of music experience and is an enthusiastic contributor to Australia's music community. He is most recognized for his 8 years with Mantrix, who produced 6 albums, and placed a strong emphasis on creating powerful live music productions. With the completion of Mantrix in 2007, he has now ventured forth into his solo project Interpulse. More involved with the Minimal Progressive movement, Interpulse is focused on creating heart felt, uplifting journeys with deep solid beats, multilayered sub-driven bass lines, spacious stereo fields, playgrounds of atmospheric fx, all at a BPM that even Jabba the Hut can shake to. Only about eight months old, this new project is sounding very promising and is receiving an outstanding response.
JIGSAW (SUNDANCE/VERTIGO,Live)
Jigsaw is Tom Crossley; musician, producer and psychedelic adventurer. Based in Melbourne, he frequently plays at parties, festivals and clubs in Melbourne and up the East coast of Australia. With releases on Sundance and Vertigo Records, Jigsaw has been writing electronic music for seven years, and played at many parties big and small. Jigsaw’s taste for eclectic soundscapes and quirky structures makes his music interesting and different, and allow complete freedom for unique ideas to flow into each track. Very much it’s own flavour, Jigsaw’s music is a constantly evolving sound that is progressive and psychedelic. Music for the head, as well as the legs, Jigsaw holds onto the concept of originality while still endorsing the familiar elements of groove and funk.
