Pure Breakadelia has returned with the second psyn'breaks set! The set kicks off with a progressive feeling, including melodies, lyrics and classical and trance hints. As time goes by it becomes more funky with drum'n'base structure while building on electronic and psychedelic sounds. At the end it becomes aggressive with solid liquid basslines, angry kicklines and clear violent distorted sequences. But the heart of the set remains the same: Breakbeat/ freestyle rythm music with psychedelic elements; that's what psy'n'breaks is all about. In this 85 minute long show I have included tracks from masters of psy'n'breaks Mood Deluxe, Plastic Shell, Far too Loud and Violet Vision. Other artists appearing in the show are Etostone, Beatman, Ludmilla, Pilot, Infected Mushroom, Headflux, Phat Riderz and Mars. I also included a breaks remix of the old classic track "Resurrection" by Deibeat and the -most likely- most known breaks track "Prodigy - Smack my bitch up". A lot of effort was made in order to implement this set. This was due to the fact that there are not many psy n breaks tracks, and most of them leave a lot to be desired. The other thing was that the tracks had large variances in their EQ structure and their BPM, making track selection and sequencing even harder. On top of that I encountered a few technical difficulties with my sound card!
