Lex Rex Perplex too played out?

I'm planning on recording a mix CD this week, and I kind of want to put lex rex perplex by Hux Flux on it. I'm wondering if this track is just too played out to put on a CD. What do you think? If you heard this track in a mix CD, would you not really be interested in listening to it again? It's a wonderful song, but I don't know if it's just been overplayed to death.

Thanks for your input.

Hey Gabriel...

If you want to play it and it fits its all good...

ita a mastter of what you like and what you want to play...

It depends if your playng for a crowd then you take into consideration how played out it is.. but if your just recording a mix I should think it would be allright...

Besides people who havnt heard the track will love it when they hear it for the first time and hear it again and again and again... :)

Take Care...

Best of Luck on your mix

i don't think lexrex perplex is overplayed. sometimes, tracks/albums/artists are overplayed only in your circle (parties, friends' place, etc...) but then you make an outsider listen and they've never heard it.

that's more important to consider when playing a set at a party. sometimes, when you play in a certain city/country, you know that you can play a track that you would never even consider playing at home or in other places because everyone at the party has heard it a 1000 times and they'll probably even be listening to it in their cars on the way home.

I dunno, in my opinion it is a bit too overplayed,,, i would rather take bring your own bios..... but then again, depends who you are making the mix cd for. Regular listeners of trance will probably not like to listen to it more than once, but if you give out the cd to unititated listeners, then it will work bigtime. Anyway thats my opinion...... peace and best of luck with your cd...
