I would definitely go with one of the two first options you mention. The Yamaha's are only really usable in a system in which you already have another pair of main monitors. They are marketed and used as a means to compare the mix on, and the main monitors will be the magnifying glasses. I would opt for the Adam monitors. I do not have experience with the particular model you ask about. But I've had a pleasant experience with another Adam model in the past. As others will certainly agree on, acoustic room treatment is equally important as the choice of monitors. So I would definitely delve into that topic as well, if you haven't already.
