That where you come in! Your expertise will be soooo appreciated! Im into full-on'ish kinda psy, around 145bpm, with heavy kicks and interesting, developing melodies. Preferably tracks that break into progg'y drops. Here are some examples (hope you like them) Anddd there is one more artist that Im CRAZY about so youre more than welcome to have a listen and please, please please please, tell me who else is like this guy... ps. Padmapani Posted July 3, 2017 Share Posted July 3, 2017 recent energetic fullon with heavy kicks and interesting developing melodies? try electric universe's last album or hypnocoustics maybe even logic bomb (though that's a little less easy listening than your examples) disorder might also be worth a try but wtf are proggy drops? just kick+bass after a break? fullon has had that sort of thing since day 1 — at a time when proggy didn't. it was only with dubstep exploding across the mainstream of electronic music that the term "drop" has become widespread and that "drops" are somehow viewed as a climax themselves rather than as a part building towards a climax. and i still haven't understood why.
