Just to be clear, Shlomy is part of Bell Size Park?

I've read somewhere that 80% of Israelis support the occupation. I'll never travel to Israel and I don't buy Israeli products, CDs included, but I wish there was more I could do.

It is usless and impossible to stop buying Israeli products...many of Israeli products and products that technology involved in Israel u are buying without even know about it. For example PC parts and protecting programs, Medicine, food and many more...today Israel is a big player in GLOBAL industry.

I suggest u to visit our contry before taking part is this protest, too meet people on both sides, to feel the people one by one. There is no better way to choose your side by a real communication. it is easy to be controlled by the fake media with out seeing the reallty by yourself and believe to fanatic politicians, fake news and TV. If there is a country who has more civil right in middle east it's in Israel, jews and muslims coexisting here like nowhere else.

And if u really want to block us stop listen to Israeli music too...because it's made by Israelis and in Israel, and find the way to delete your good memories of great Israeli tracks because they made u happy I guess. and maybe then maybe then u will lead some change...in yourself , in negative way...

U cant blame all the country and Israeli nation because one man's opinion, in this case Shlomy from Bell Size Park.

"Ive read somewhere...."

It is good to put your opinion but I think its the wrong place to do that.... but why in party when there is no any interests about politics and religion? I've met a lot of people during the years in world festivals that dont even want to hear about it. I've danced with muslims and Israelis in the same dancefloor . You cant change nothing by this opinion with free entrance because the 2 states it's a really difficult issue that can't be find out so quickly. I think that was a wrong idea...I'ts more like provocative thing i think...

Next time I suggest you to offer something more sustainble like (even I dont agree with nationalizm and for me all people are ONE): Free ticket and bar drinks for Israeli and palestinian who arrive to the party toghether. :) how is that?

and for the rest readers who also think about Israel negative things I really suggest you to come visit. many people chanched their minds after that, but not all of them. at least its better to make decition by your own experience then by fake news )... ahh and we have a DEAD sea, the lowest place in the world, a must visit place! ;)

listen my bad,

here i putted it a little bit "better", its clear its a peace petition, free palistina, go for two state solution was first not mentioned, so it could be seen as support for palistina against israel

what is not the purpose... its for peace... so naming the artist was and is bad, i would appreciate if you could make this thread anonymous...

Like i said to the artist, IF WE - FAMILY - CAN NOT AGREE OR EVEN TALK ABOUT THIS : HOW CAN WE EXPECT THE POLITICIANS WILL DO ?

I also know of very bad experiences with Israelis.

Someone i know organized festivals every year, until one year he decides to let a (well known) Israeli organize things.

Of course, a lot of artists from Israel were hired and the festival was a desastrous.

One Israeli raped a girl in the parking spot and fled the country before he could get arrested.

The Israeli DJs who were staying in a hotel damaged the rooms so badly that the organizer had to pay thousands of euros

to have them repaired.

The festivals before the Israeli organized one were all a financial success, the Israeli one had a loss of more than 30.000euro.

The guy who hired the Israeli never made another festival after that experience.

I think political issues should never be mixed up with music scene. Politics separate us and there must be something to unite us.

Also i see how Western people may think that whenever the government of this or that country is doing something unacceptable, like argression, occupation, annexation of territories and whatnot this means that most citizens are supporting it and are personally responsible for this but many countries outside of Europe and USA don't work like that. Severe braiwashing, controlling media, faking the public opinion polls, physically opressing the political opposition are the tools used by the governments all over the world so I'd think twice before bying into this "80% Israelis support occupation".

Not sure. I actually met more Israëli's that oppose it.

Been in that country about 10 times (to play music and combine it always with a visit and talks); doesn't make me an expert, but that is what I heard myself.

Plus living there is the key to fully understand all: be there, experience. A judging from a far or trough statistics is dangerous imo.

Hey bro, newsflash. The PC/Laptop you are using has parts made by Intel. A company that has huuuuge branch in Israel that develops CPUs.

Google.com You are familiar with that little site? Google's Search division has many engineers that work in Tel Aviv and develop code that allows you to find easier scat porn you probably enjoy.

Real quick bro. In 2017 you can't just ignore or boycott countries, let alone a tech powerhouse that is Israel.

Also, as a guy who is Israeli, who works in Israeli tech sector we have many Arab engineers. Are you going to boycott them as well?

There are 120 arseholes that run my country, not all of us are blood thirsty war mongers. Chances are, your country is helmed as well by different language speaking arsehole.

Chill and enjoy whatever good life your parents allowed you to live and stop preaching other people what to do and how to live their lives.
