No longer the new kid on the block, Tribal Village is the gold star attraction. Why? The absolute dedication to the cause from promoter Jay OM and his crew is a pretty good place to start. Jays desire being simple; to put on the best damn parties he possibly can. No cutting corners, caring on every level. He knows it is the one-percenters that make all the difference. As well he brings on board the finest available entities to do production - lighting, lasers, decorations who are able to transform any venue into a playground in which the kidults can totally indulge their senses. Then you have the contacts and resources from Jays day job, label boss of Free-Spirit Records, that he is also able to throw into the mix, building line-ups of DJs and live-acts from across the spectrum and across the planet. Then there are the market stalls and their ever so happy-to-be-there vibe. The performers, face-painters, jugglers and magicians. Ultimately though the best thing about Tribal Village is the crowd; the most enthusiastic, friendly, diverse, beautiful, caring, loving, devoted bunch of people you will ever encounter on a dance-floor in this mad crazy town. So that the end-result of any Tribal Village is it being one great big life re-affirming experience. And this May 7th will be no different.
