Beat That Pedo Grandpa (Akes rmx) JESUS RAVES Ok I don't know who that guy Akés is, but what I did find out is that he's an awesome remixer. Here we have 12 tracks remixed by him. The only original tracks I have listened are the Dark Nebula and the Karash ones. So I don't have any idea if the remixes are better than the originals (in the case of those two tracks I mentioned there are indeed better), but judging by the overall quality of this album they might easily be. Apart from the opening track which is a lovely downtempo all the other tracks are darkpsy/forest with (surprise) many melodic elements. Don't except Goa here of course, but they are more melodic than the usual for sure. We have pure forest (Wizack Twizack remix), atmospheric darkpsy (Silent Horror), more sinister versions of twilight artists like Tryambaka or Dark Nebula and pure power in the last tracks. Which are BTW not your typical fast n frenzy psycore tracks. If you like forest-y darkpsy with a pinch of melodies this is your release.
