my music has nothing to do with the artists mentioned

never tried to copy nobody

samples are nothing..

you cant describe an album by listening samples

hope you enjoy this release

peace

I didn't say you copied Astral Projection If you had done so, you would have released tracks very similar to their known tracks and would be subject to lawsuits.

Which is not the case.

All your tracks are original, very good and danceable. But it's undeniable that they sound like as if AP had written them.

But do not worry, saying that your album sound like AP is a praise, IMO ;)

one track was made with that killer kick because 10 years ago ive been to a festival where a greek dj played only

that kind of goa ..and then it was a period i really enjoyed listening tunes in this direction

from the samples you cant figure out but its also a track there a tribute to oldschool days from the beginning ...

anyway one month is not far

just 2 words : enjoy this :)

If someone has his own distinct style it is E-Mantra! I really like every sound n beat this guy is producing. As Ion1zed mentioned, this is the wave length I thoroughly enjoy very much being on! For me I hope that this new album is going to be one big bowl of my cup of tea! :))

it does sound nice, but imho doesn't work well on the dancefloor. the bass comes too long after the click, but maybe it's also the fault of the crappy soundsystem i heard in on, a few months back when you were playing in vienna ;). and it doesn't matter much to me, i'll hear the track a thounsand times more often at home than on the dancefloor :)

anyway, nice album with the unique e-mantra style (astral projection? not remotely similar to me...) and i'm looking forward to it.

It worked very well when he played here in Belgium last time however! (Fractal Gate) :)

Also this click-bass thing is something typical to Nitzhonot (like u know I guess) and indeed depends on the soundsystem...if the speakers are only somewhere in the front of the party u'll hear the bass way later than the click, right? :)

I've always liked E-mantra style and never liked Astral Projection too much (I like a lot of old school stuff but not AP). I like E-mantra's melodies, sounds and atmospheres and almost every track fast or slow is my cup of tea.

I like Pathfinder samples and I'll buy this release for sure.

E-mantra has a specific sound I always recognize, even without reading who the author is.

I'm sure it will be a great work...as always.

-Music sounds almost like Afgin or as some here already are saying 'Astral Projection'.

You need to see a specialist. Really.

No, wait...several specialists.

E-Mantra is the artist that sounds like no other.

Hehe, exactly. If someone has a unique sound, it's E-Mantra. His music always seems to trigger the right neurotransmitters in my brain.

From the Suntrip website:

In the second part of the album, melodies take the lead to give the tracks a highly hypnotic shape. A trippy remix of the anthem “Dansul Ielelor” is followed by “Valley of the Kings”, a hymn to euphoric eastern melodies, while “Distant Signals” and “Journey to Orion” make you dive into the deep mental side of E-Mantra. The turmoil of madness completes with a relentless acidic remix of Approaching Nibiru!

"Journey to Orion" isn't on the album, I recon? A typo, Mars? ;)

pahfinder, metamorphic resonance, the 2 remixes and distant signals sound really promising. the ambient tracks also seem very interesting.

valley of the kings has the potential to be best nu goa track in the last 10 years. let's see!!!!!!!

e-mantra keep up the good work! you really have the skills and the 'ear' to make pure goa tracks that have the madness, that once we all were so crazy about. this is goa trance music after all...certain sounds and melodies that lead you to an ecstatic dance ritual.

You need to see a specialist. Really.

No, wait...several specialists.

E-Mantra is the artist that sounds like no other.

like no other you mean? so many resemblences to so many artists back in the days , maybe you should start studying the music u're actually releasing...

Also maybe so unique as Filteria sounding so similar so Pleiadians... that's truly unique.

...and don't forget , isn't the music you're releasing tagged as Goa Trance or 'New School Goa' ? To be in the same genre it's because the music holds some similarities with the other artists itself , right?

Like i said before , he has his elements but he still holds some of the classic Goa influences...

An artist that sounds like no other goes producing something totally different like Jean Michel Jarre , Vangelis...

Don't see the similarity it as a problem unless you do , plus a lot of things had been done in the Goa Psy genre already so the probability of sounding similar and even resemble some other artists is huge.

Now stop wasting my time and you go see a specialist , seems you really need it saying that psygone was too psychedelic for your taste LOL.

I am curious what elements you are referring to exactly. If they are anything like the elements that are simply staples of psychedelic trance music, then E-Mantra would have to NOT make psychedelic trance music to sound truly unique. I'm not sure I can explain E-Mantra's style exactly. It's loose, spacey, fluid, driving. It sometimes makes me think his patterns are not entirely focused, like one sound just sort of melts rather than leads into the next.

In my opinion, no two artists sound the same, especially in the genre of goa/psy trance. Filteria is entirely different from Darshan who is entirely different from Astral Projection who is entirely different from E-Mantra. There is a good reason why goa trance is sometimes difficult to mix much more than other electronic dance genres.

As Emanuel pointed out, there are influences such as the Nitzho kick or perhaps arpeggiated leads but it will almost always result in something unique when blended together and I have a hard time imagining that given the nearly limitless possibilities of electronic sounds that two artists would come up with identical sounds.

I am having the total intolerance towards `eastern religions` influenced music.

E-mantra has a very strong influence in his name.

Despite that, I consider his music to be the most serious, deep, driving and flight-supporting among all other producing nowdays.

I listened to some of his tracks repeatedly for hours, so much they were able to do for me.

Of course, they still lacking a lot filling IMO and happiness but still it is the most serious music around and thus more valuable.

I have discovered that on the album Arcana there is a track called `Dansul Ielelor` which means `a dance of a fairy` and which is Romanian, a native language of the artist, thus very ethnic influenced. Especially together with strack`s `Approaching Nibiru` starting from

and few others with great names and conent, it made the album Arcana to be the most prioritized for me once I will get ready the money for the next purchase.

And discovering that his new album is titled as Pathfinder which means even less influence of `eastern religions` made me appreciate his music even more among the rest.

I wanted to say about this in this thread but noticed his avatar still has a buddhist mandala or something like that.. It was stopping me to say something really good about his music.. But then, one day 2 days ago, I somehow thought... if his music is soo good sometimes, referring to `Approaching Nibiru` and `Dansul Ielelor` tracks especially, maybe he would also change his avatar and remove all the `eastern stuff`??

I loaded the forum homepage and noticed his posts under the new, absolutely not `eastern` `avatar`!!!

So I decided to post...

But then I decided to delete it by some reasons.. and now restoring again after realising in personal communication with the artist in particular that `Approaching Nibiru` and `Dansul Ielelor` are also his one of most favorite tracks and he never used any `eastern` theme in any of his tracks.. :)

Really? You can't like music because it might be influenced by eastern religions just a tiny, little bit? What the heck.

I said I was listening to his tracks repeatedly for hours even known they are presented from the artist with that strong influence in his name. The overall need for the music and the musc itself has won over the intolerance.

And the new album`s name symbolically makes even lesser `eastern` influence.

But I didn`t want to say any good words about while I was still seeing him using the `eastern-styled` avatar. 2 days ago I had a thought that he might change it, I loaded the forum and by a `coincidence` saw right on the homepage that he really changed it! :)

So I decided to post..

I was asking it generally, not with this album alone.

I believe I have answered this as well in the first part of my previous message. It happens to me like that with all music.

You didn't explain why do you have total intolerance specifically for all eastern religions - and even though you do, I still can't see any connection with a track title suggesting something and you hating the actual content, that is very abstract, and doesn't even remotely remind of, say, religion propaganda. Same applies for an artists name, it's more than often just because it sounds good and it fits the style of the genre. If the music has vibes or influences from religions, it's so very often just for the sake of the genre - exceptions occur, but what's even more important, it's all in the eye of the beholder and if you take such things seriously and it distorts of you liking something so much, well, that makes very little sense to me.

1. X with 1% of something else

2. Like 99% of the X

3. Hate that 1% of something else in the X

4. Hate 100% of the X

wat. It's almost like saying an otherwise brilliant album is shit because of one bad track.

Excuse me for spinning this offtopic but this is baffling me.

This is `baffling` you or whatever because you obviousely got it wrong.

The calculation is something like this.

  • Need of the music as the help to reach a certain level of `consiousness` = 100%
  • Improtance of the purity of the music for this level = 80%
  • Deviation caused by the music in this case - name of the artist, lacking of ethnic instruments and constant happy mood = -35%
  • My ability to correct the course caused by the deviation = 50%
  • The probability to reach the desired destination with the help of this music = 100 - 35*0.8 + 50 = 122%
Thus far I am listening and can listen for really long and `suck all of the juices` as much as this level can give.

But if I would like to get the higher level, importance of the purity rises, my ability to correct the deviation reduces and the figure gets far below 100% and this were I`m getting sad..

In short, it will really hurt if I would like to reach some higher levels with the help of this music but does it`s `job` incredibly much better than of the many others on lower levels.

One of the most weird things/opinions I've read so far in this forum.

That`s why I initially deleted it. Did not want to bring the attention. But after the artist talked to me in a personal conversation, I have changed my mind again.
