Proper mind rewind! I guess we have to start with Pet Shop Boys

Got a cassette of theirs from a gas station when I was 6.

I remember being hooked on this track:

Around the age of 8-9, got this compilation:

(nice to find the image of the _cassette_ which is indeed what I had)

...and track that still gives me the goosebumps :D

For me was through my parents in the early 80s. I would be around 5 and they had a tape of "Azul y Negro"

Y really enjoyed listening to their synthpop albums at the time. Later I got into punk and hardcore, but thanks to the club scene I start listening to Lsg, bonzai records, etc..., until a friend came up with his last adquisition, Trancentral IV A trip to goa... :P

My first exposure to electronic music was probably Nine Inch Nails, back when I was about 8-9 years old. It probably seems "dark" for my age, but I got started early, listening to old 45s of Miles Davis and stuff when I was 4 years old. My mother's favorite band was Black Sabbath too so it doesn't get much darker than that. ;)

The first more "dancy" stuff I heard was Orbital and The Prodigy (many have mentioned them I noticed). I still like quite a bit of Orbital's stuff, The Prodigy not so much. :P
