UNION JACK - LIVE!

Platipus Records

http://www.myspace.com/platipusrecords

These gentlemen should need no introduction. After being at the top of the 90's Trance movement and creating some of the most seminal works of that time, Union Jack are back in action. After a couple of LIVE gigs in 2010, they are back with a new reworked show, ready to kick off their 2011 tour. Strange Daze are proud to play host to Simon Berry and Paul Brogden as they unlease a combination of past classics and future stormers. As if that wasn't enough, they'll be playing to custom created visuals of their music videos, over as many screens as we can get our hands on!!

ART OF TRANCE

Platipus Records

http://www.myspace.com/platipusrecords

For our 96th Strange Daze, Simon Berry will be joining us to DJ some of the Art Of Trance classics that helped shape the early trance scene and influence what became known as the infamous Platipus sound. Art of Trance's music has become synonimous with early Acid fans but his music has also made it's way into the record boxes of industry heavy weights and stadium fillers like Judge Jules and Armin van Buuren. AoT's music has also attracted attention and remixes from the likes of Man With No Name, Oliver Lieb, Richard Durand,

Ferry Corsten, Transa and too many others to mention.

BEZ 23

Peak Records / Kulu

http://www.myspace.com/bez23dorje

Bez 23 has been a regular at Strange Daze since our first event, and for good reason. Known for his style of mind-zorching face melters, expect anything from chunky minimal, to full on dance floor stormers, or even goa and trance classics.

DAN COMPRESSION

Compression Sound System

http://www.myspace.com/dancompression

Dan has been DJ-ing for more years than he'd like to admit. Bringing quality music to outdoor and indoor events across the UK is what he 'does', whether it be as a DJ or one of the most sought after sound engineers in the techno scene. Both roles have given him an attention to detail/audio, which is matched by very few. As he'd say, "putting the 'ech' in Techno".

NANOOK

Strange Daze / Arkona Creation Records

http://www.chrisnanook.webs.com/

Chris Nanook is one of the original mainstays of the Strange Daze Sound System, and label DJ for Arkona Creation. He can be found playing up and down the country with a selection ranging anywhere from Full On face-melters to minimal 4/4, as well as ambient soundscapes and his own unique compositions. Nanook likes to play on as many decks and f.x as he can get his grubby mitts on, so as ever, expect some of the usual un-usualness!

SEPTIC INSURGENT - LIVE!

Abducted/StupidFly/Ninja Columbo/Subdepth

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Septic-Insurgent/113775023263

Huw Septic Insurgent rocks cross genre dancefloors, in a style roughly described as "mash-up".

Dub, Electronica, BreakStep, PsyTrance and a clever combination of them all, is not unheard of when he plays. Expect the unexpected as Septic Insurgent makes his first SDSS

appearance in over a year!

+ RESIDENTs:

* IDOL MONKEY- GOATBOY - SEYE - E: DRIVE - ANGRY HIPPIES - TOMMMY *
