To start off, we would like to give our thanks to so many, who have come forward to make this art-project rapturous and enlightening. Desiderata has evolved far beyond the initial vision into a wondrous participatory art-village. Expect new and diverse breeds of music. Meet members of the world community and participate in workshops, lectures, and political discussions. Expect the avant-garde and the abstract: indie film premieres, art installations and multimedia performances. Experience and discover music that will help you transcend the petty day-to-day issues out in the real world. Let loose and dance to wash away the stress of life. Watch and join actors performing theater. Sit by the fire and instinctively remember a simpler time, when every person, musician or non-musician would sing, drum, play an instrument, in harmony with each other, exposing their true selves without shame to their fellow human beings. Prepare your costumes. Bring instruments. On June 26th, Saturday evening, the entire Tribe will come together in a massive collective jam that will lead us into a rapturous masquerade. Bring your colors. Bring your flame. All your senses aflame, your mind stimulated, your heart pumping with the utter joy of sharing life with others... LOCATION Desiderata will take place on June 23, through June 27, at Stone Tavern Farm - a magnificent place hidden in the Catskill mountains. Stone Tavern Farm is located at 2080 Upper Meeker Hollow Road in Roxbury, NY, within two and a half to three hours away from New York City. TICKETS At the moment, there are 217 tickets remaining at $130. Once these tickets sell out, we'll move on to the next tier at $145. Bring your art, ideas and skills. A crew of beautiful minds is working hard to create an 19th century traveling circus plot for the Desiderata spectacle. Characters and costumes are in the works. YOGA Desiderata Healing Program will include hatha yoga, partner yoga, laughter yoga, yoga nidra, trippy yoga, reiki, qi gong, shamanic dance, guided meditations, sound healing, tai chi, lectures on the emotional body in yoga, dance of liberation, pranayama, marmapoint self massage, ayurvedic lecture & consultation.
