New School Goa Trance Discography (2002/3 - )

I'm wondering if anybody has Cosmic Flower Records' free mp3 compilations: Marguerite, Xmas Compo 2006 - PsyEve and Kids of Sun? Their 2008 compilation (Cosmos) can be downloaded from their homepage but the above mentioned comps are not available any more. :(

Great list.

I've been listening to this all day:

Summamautikka - Umpimahka (2002) [Finland]

Discogs

and its full of lovely melodies, effects, layers and spacey yummy goodness.

Definitely add this to the list. Such good stuff.

Who'd have thought Goa-fantastic'ness from Finland?

This track is quite nice:

Guess I forgot about Kim Åke's Summamutikka project because its part of my finnish psytrance collection that is considered to be kind of a subgenre. I think maybe it won't be a crime to add some of his Aavepyörä albums to the list... Thanks!

Oh yeah and also

Lord Shiva - A Revolution In Music (2002)

Check it out online

Can't for the life of me find samples online to share - but its good stuff.

It would be good to know more about this release. I enjoyed it very much but the tricky thing is that some songs are actual rip-offs of old school classics such as Astral Projection's Cosmic Ascension.

Definitely part-goa. It sounds full-on aswell thou.

I'm very glad about & proud of this release because I personally met & talked to Snag the latest party I was at here in Hungary. He seems to be a really friendly guy. You're right, his style was influenced by full-on just as much as old-school goa (as far as I know, he began his career as a full-on dj). Actually he's organizing a party this weekend to promote his album. Unfortunately, I cannot attend it :( but I promised to purchase his album and I'm going to keep my word. As it's not 'pure' goa, I have to check it out first. Anyway, thanks for the recommendation!

You should also check this:

It's my debut album from 2005. I was only 17 when I created this album, but it still got released by one of the indie electronic labels in Sarajevo, Symbiosis. It's a 100% underground release, and it was printed on CD's, only a small limited amount of copies.

I don't have the link for mp3's with me, but I guess it can be found somewhere on the internet, or torrents maybe.

Great! A thousand thanks for these! I have not heard of this label until now. There are so many outstanding & energetic tracks from these Cygnetic artists.

This is absolutely I'm interested in. I mean local releases from around the world that are hard to find nowadays. Actually I could not find it however hard I tried. A link would be highly appreciated.

I notice Johann Bley never comes up when discussing new school Goa trance... was his last album not a continuation of his earlier work as Mandra Gora and such? It certainly seemed like it to me.

I only got Blow Your Mind and the Mandra Gora tracks so I'm not familiar with his work after that at all. By his last album did you mean Singularity (TIP.World, 2005)?

Believe it or not, but I don't have any CD's of my own release left with me :) Don't ask why. Anyways, I will talk to some of my friends who probably still have it and I'll try to upload it as soon as I get back home (in about 5-10 days). Thanks for posting it in your listing  ;)

Although this EP was released this year as far as I know these songs were produced back in the '90s. Which is of course a more than good thing (OiG ;) ) but I try to keep my focus on recently produced music with this list. But anyway thanks!
