Dosenbier Posted February 19, 2009 Share Posted February 19, 2009 sorry, dont know the track, but if you like that tribal stuff, you should try "medecine drum"!! nice mixture between trance, goa and ethnic with synth and real instruments and drums! :drama: one of my favorites!!! "ganga giri" is also nice but more far away from goa/psytrance, but with nice didge sounds, try their album "beats around the bush"! "juno reactor" also have some good tribal elements in their music, "shango" and "bible of dreams" should be your style... ;-) and last but not least the track "nag chamba" from bamboo forest! yeah i am also always searching for that tribal/ethnic stuff! wild poeple stamping around the fire, thats my impression of goa sound :posford: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
gstarcev Posted March 7, 2009 Share Posted March 7, 2009 First of all, I guess the instrument you search for is called 'tabla' (although with some 'FX' applied I'd guess) - check it with related instruments in http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tabla; there ought to be a shitload of such tribal psystuff out there.. just google 'tribal+psy+tabla' i guess I guess you'll get stuff like: http://www.discogs.com/Tabla-Beat-Science-.../release/181076 Also, yesterday I was listening to http://www.discogs.com/Uni-Uni/release/327223 and the sound was not quite what you were searching for but somehow similar; perhaps you should scan Uni's newer stuff?
