Psychedelic Upbeat Music

OK

so this year I've mostly enjoyed ambient & chillout music but there has been some great trance.

Jikkenteki - Flights of Infinity is so far my favourite from 2008

Suntrip released some quality with Ra - 9th & VA - Opus Iridium

and Artifakt delivered with Magus

but I am missing some of the crazy yet quality of some of my favourite 2007 releases

Tea Chairs - Tea Chairs & Sienis - From A Nutter Perspective

aswell as the smooth dreaminess of Solar Fields - EarthShine

are there any 2008 releases that match these in style & quality?

If you want dreaminess then go for Human Blue's latest Blue Basket Buffet. It also has some madness near the end of the album. You will def like if you enjoy earthshine, especially the first 3 tracks which are out of this world. Still need to get round to writing a review of this album. Tis a great one

Also, check haltya's latest if you want some more, funk ass crazyness

I'm really enjoying the Day.Din album and the latest Aerospace, very psychedelic progressive.

I strongly advice you to check out Imaginary Sights two latest tracks on VA - Little Worlds, just amazing. Though I'äm sure you're already familiar with them <_< Damn I want a full length album from them!

Cheers me dears!

Will check out & add some of these to my next order! Especially thanks for recommending freshly cut tomato. I had previously overlooked it due to crappy title/cover etc but the tracklist looks out of this world

also thanks for recommending Jikkenteki - Flights of Infinity as I will be buying this again this month

I have purchased both of these along with James Reipas - Personal Trainer & Kino Oko - Alphabetically Divided Highway and a load of more chilled music. Hope to get the upbeat buzz back. The lethargy of summer boozing is wearing off & I'm ready for some Autumnal energy :D

Human Blue - Base Basket Buffet (Transient Records, 2008)

M.E.E.O. - Highlight Me Please (Demon Tea, 2008) nice

VA - Divine Interventions (Liquid Records, 2008) nice full on without breaks every 3 seconds

VA - No Strings Attached (Parvati, 2008) darker side, parvati quality

Kino Oko - Alphabetically Divided Highway (Tribal Vision, 2008) awesome

Yudhisthira - Civilization And Transcendance (Glowing Flame Records, 2008) full on with a twist

VA - Little Worlds (Glowing Flame Records, 2008) full on with a twist

Procs - The Lonely Land Of Tada (Manic Dragon, 2008) forest music

Listening to the new Kluster atm, sounds nice, but needs more listens.
