A little bare-boned and simplistic with very little multi-layering for umpteenth time-listeners to sink their teeth into and discover new sounds but, yeah, it's okay. Felt it lacked a little warmth too but the crappy bitrate might be responsible for that. I don't understand comparing it to anything else; a work is a work on its own terms. If you like it, then good; if not, then good. If you don't like it because it doesn't sound like LSD or because it doesn't meet some expectations then you have some musical maturing to do. Peace.
