Happy Psy-ambient

Look no further than Younger Brother - Happy Pills Taster, from their latest album. Title says it all ;) . Both of their albums are, on the whole, pretty "happy"-oriented.

As someone mentioned earlier, Youth vs Abakus is also pretty happy-go-lucky kinda stuff. Look for a track called "Spiritual Being".

Other recommendations:

Ott - Splitting An Atom

Shpongle - The Nebbish Route

Albums by Carbon Based Lifeforms are pure bliss ..Takes me to another world no matter how many times i listen them.

I guess the music of CBL speaks about the unspoked beauty of nature :)

Recently they released their first album " THe path " for free..you can get it from here...http://www.carbonbasedlifeforms.net/transfer/

Bluetech - Prima Materia

very warm and "happy" music!

ummm ... I have this piece and I find it a little melancholic and not "happy"

Maybe it's just me though. I easily percieve something as melancholic.

In this case it's true that The Path (actually it should be called Notch - The Path and NOT CBL, but that's just a little glitch) is their warmest, most "happy" work (which is explained because the work was originally recorded under another artist name) ... but the rest of Carbon Based Lifeform's work is more emotional and I'd not necessarily recommend it as "happy" ambient. Go for The Path though, you'll like it :)

Well im looking for happy, feel good psy ambient tracks for example like Shulman: Mia Nihta Mono den Ftani

anybody can help me?thnx

I really like the work of Ulrich Schnauss, especially his first two albums. He is great at hitting that very emotional borderland between euphoric and melancholic which for me is usually quite feel-good. Maybe not very psychedelic, but very atmospheric.

BTW, am I the only one who always comes to think of the old song Men at Work - Land Down Under when I hear Shulman - Mia Nihta Mono den Ftani??

Just like El LCD - Snö på Hissingen (last track on Chillosophy 3) always makes me think Chris Isaacs - Wicked Game. :D

Not very psy imo, but freakin' amazing melodies

 Yeah I guess u can take that approach, but are u sure u r not talking about Elementary Particles? :P I find that a lot more melancholic...(though I can see that Prima Materia definitely has "melancholic elements"). But Im really getting the happy vibes from Prima Materia, the melodies and rhythms are so gitty! But I agree the intros are usually more melancholic but then it evolves into something totally different. Take tracks like White Magnesia, Prophetic Sines or Rubicon

ahh and would just like to add (not psy but) Kettel- My Dogan = happy music!

I didn't listen to Elementary Particles yet. So yeah, I mean Prima Mateira and I mean it's melancholic.

But thanks for warning me that the other one is even more melancholic...
