At the 29nd of September 2007, the praised Arc of Goa lowers its gangway and Namasté “Connecting Cultures” invites family, friends, lovers and world travellers for an outrageous party in three different dimensions. For the first, but for sure not the last time this year, Namasté will turn her floating home haven into the magic world of… The Arc of Goa. At the lower deck of the Stubnitz, the party will reach a climax at hallucinating Progressive sounds and the energetic Psytrance melody lines. In the ‘belly’ of the Arc of Goa it are the live-act Meller (AP records, Tribal Vision, D) and DJ’s Bart (Namaste), Marvyn (Baba Power, NL), Danyel (Neurobiotic, NL), Zen (Psykick, NL), Kairon (Kairoo Records, , Erzo (Off my Trolley , NL) and Supergroover (Psynami, NL), who will make the visitors dance and trance at the heaving rhythm of the waves until the sun rises from behind the horizon. Beats, breaks, hissing hi-hats and other magic sounds are flying around your ears at the middle deck, crossing the space and reaching for the outer limits of this dimension. The live-act Geigercounting (Supertracks records, Awakenings, NL) and DJ’s Wiesel (Ruffdog records, Berlin, D), Meneer de Beer (Fightclub, Fragile Breaks, NL), Chamelian and Rombout (Sub United, NL) are your guides during a trip through the unknown, but for sure not unloved. Like a singing mermaid, the atmospheric play of Jurgen van Harskamp (soundscapes, guitar, The Chaishop, NL), PureLoverAvi (flutes, percussion, vocals, The Chaishop, IL), Davide Swarup (hang, The Chaishop, The Chaishop, I), Ghasem Batamuntu (saxsetra, The Chaishop, USA), Michiel Teijgelaar (didgeridoo, The Chaishop, NL), Funk Sitarman (sitar, The Chaishop, NL) and Wieke Garcia (percussion, The Chaishop, NL) lures the visitors again and again to the back deck of the ship. These talented Chaishop musicians from all wind regions of the world let the Spanish, Chilean, Iranian, African and Indian cultures flow together and make the living room feeling revive.
