supergroover Posted August 9, 2007 Share Posted August 9, 2007 ultimae: fahrenheit project 5 &6 albedo very nice people at ultimae. basically all is good from ultimae except oxycanta which i didnt like much and the earlier fahrenheits arent brilliant. And one not to be missed soon is va- kokopelli (conscious dreams) (sorry for the shameless self promotion... ) it ll be released in september. amphiton Posted August 9, 2007 Share Posted August 9, 2007 Fahrenheits are awesome, as well as Albedo and Oxycanta, that Aleph Zero's compilation is OK (well, it lacks flow in my opinion, but has few excellent tracks), haven't heard the latest Native State's compil, but their Beneath the Surface is quite good too. It's just much more ambient than other ultimae comps! +1 a beautiful comp very dreamy, and yes mostly beat less ambient (if I remember correctly) try: Cosmik Chill - Red (2006) Cosmik Chill - Orange (2007) I really like these... to bad there are no reviews on these here, I might have to look into that... Hmm and Midnight Soul Dive (Aleph Zero) and for psy break/dub/downbeat Nagual Sound Experience - Invisible Movements ED: and Tajmahal - Star Circus is alright too... VA Magical journey & vol 2 VA Butterfly Dawn - this ones no longer available but if you could get your hands on it sometime in the future.. don't waste the opportunity VA Portal of perceptions VA Chillum vol - 4 - this is more like ethnic spiritual chillout (not too psychedelic) VA Downbeat Liquid - one of the best compilations ive heard lately VA Twelve - another compilation thats no longer avaliable there are some more... il check and put here later :clapping: Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
