On Christmas Night Monday December 25th, DancePortal.com.au in conjunction with Mushroom Madness proudly presents Deja Vu 2... Yet Another Bloody Trance Party featuring surprise special performances from one of the world's top psytrance artists Mr Peculiar and one of psy's leading-ladies Auricle, both separately and also as their acclaimed double-act Hyperception!

 

This will be the Hyperception duo’s final gig in Oz before departing on a world tour in celebration of the release of their upcoming collaborative album and Mr P’s much-anticipated new Infinite Evolution album!

 

All-star support from Al Diddy (Eye Spiral Records), Trolley (Synergy47), Nimda (Alien Earth), Dream Katcher (DJ set), as well as live acts Timestretch (Macedonia) and Si.continuum (Mushroom Madness)!

 

Expect prog-psy and electro beats early on, flowing into full-on inyaface and upfront hard psy from some masters of the art as we stomp into Boxing Day morning!

 

Crazy decor, psychedelic visuals and loads of post-Xmas cheer ~ hope you all can make it!

HYPERCEPTION ~ MR PECULIAR AND AURICLE:

 

"Hyperception" is Dustin Saalfield (Mr Peculiar) and Minja Thomas (Auricle) from Melbourne, Australia. They formed in 2004 and have been collaborating on a number of projects including computer-generated art, visual animation and above all mainly focusing their energy towards psychedelic music production.

 

Dustin has been writing music since 1989 and has released tracks on a multitude of compilations from various labels worldwide as well as three solo albums to date as Mr Peculiar.

 

Minja has been involved in psychedelic trance since 2000 and has performed both internationally and Australia-wide.

 

Their combined talents have created a unique sound and style best described as energetic, melodic, full-on morning psytrance perfectly suited to the atmosphere of outdoor festivals.

 

The pair is currently nearing completion of their debut collaborative album to be released in 2007, coinciding with a year's tour of Asia, Europe and beyond.

 

Keep a look out for this dynamic trance duo, as they are sure to be the next big act rockin' dancefloors around the globe, and be sure to catch this world-class act before they leave for overseas!
