Ormion Posted September 27, 2006 Share Posted September 27, 2006 Well trippy or not it's up to you.. I just finished my new track called Gazing Beyond The Doorstep Of Reality. The style is old school Goa, a bit freestyle though. It has many melodies, 303's, acid lines and full 909 phat percussion. I tried to put many emotions, it starts as a happy track but ends kind of melancholic. The production is not that good, but I'm still a beginner. So, if you like melodic stuff give it a try. Maybe more key changes, melodies/layers developing as the song progresses would make the song more engaging and dynamic. Regardless, I'm being critical because I'm comparing your stuff to other goatrance out there. If you're just starting out, it sounds cool.
