What is psytrance today? Infected Mushroom? Eskimo? Talpa? Kindzadza? Koxbox? Power Source? Krumelur? Flying Scorpions?

Psytrance is what you make it to be! Be it Talpa or Koxbox, psytrance is what is in your heart. If its not in your heart, then it might be psytrance for someone else...

Psytrance is a ever changing story. This evolution, these changes, IMO are good. Why stay the same all the time?

Phobes: this was not for you, it was kind of a continuation of your post :D

Yeah, if everything sounded like it did in the golden age of psytrance then people would be complaining that everything sounds the same & that artists should try new ideas & maybe a new style & "did you here that innovative skazi chap?" because he would be the different one.

When is a genre dead? When it's stopped being produced or what?

597875[/snapback]

I think when people stop listening to it. But if someone's listening to it someone will probably be producing it so they probably coincide.

If everyone's dead, noone can listen to it so it can't last forever can it? I went for next millenium.
