Greatest Storytellers

Which albums (or compilations) do you think tell the best story. Which are the best arranged albums. Where all the tracks are in the right place to make the album progress like a story. Not just a collection of tracks thrown together in any order with an ambient track at the end.

My favourite story telling pieces are

The Mystery of the Yeti I & II

Shpongle - Are you Shpongled?

Union Jack - No Armageddon

Banco De Gaia - Last Train to Lhasa

Jikkenteki - The Long Walk Home

The Muses Rapt - Spiritual Healing

Shulman - Soundscapes & Modern Tales

These all talk to me :)

Not all stories I can hear straight away but need a few listens for me to understand.

Lustmord - Heresy

Lustmord - The Monstrous Soul

Lustmord - Zoetrope

Robert Rich & Lustmord - Stalker

I like these especially because they all have a few short hints, that suggest sinister events taking place...the rest is up to your imagination (some hints are not exactly subtle, but it's still very cool )

Tells a great story, such descriptive, original music. I love it.
