ASTRIX DJ Set (Hommega Productions / Israel) Astrix is Avi Shmailov from Israel,number 75 on the DJ Magazine top 100 dj's list of the world.Signed on the prestigious Hommega Productions and having released two personal albums on the label Avi is considered today as one of the superstars of the trance scene with his distinctive,melodic and powerful full on style.He has released many tunes on the best labels of the scene including TIP World and Spun Records and is always featured on the line up of the biggest trance festivals of the world.He is at the moment putting the final touches on his upcoming album while preparing for an unforgetable summer full of massive events all around the globe. MAN WITH NO NAME Live Perfomance (Dragonfly Records / UK) Man With No Name is Martin Freeland from UK,a living legend and originator of the trance scene.He has been producing high quality music for almost 20 years now and in 1998 he signed for Paul Oakenfolds Perfecto label and achieved worldwide success with memorable tunes like Vavoom and Hybrid.Martin has a superb reputation in the electronic music scene and has created classic tracks like Sugar Rush,Lunar Cycle and the definitive trance anthem Teleport.Since 1988 he has released tracks in the greatest labels of the world like Atomic Records,TIP World and Dragonfly and at the moment he is working on his upcoming album.The master is finnally here for a memorable live perfomance. BTW, will be this album similar like his newest compilation's tracks? I hope not, as I haven't liked them too much. DETOX Posted May 21, 2006 Author Share Posted May 21, 2006 Gnome you might not like Tiesto but you got to admit that he has offered a lot to the trance scene and that he is very successful on what he does. Now concerning Man With No Name his new album will be out on TIP World and also prepare for some special collaborations with Dino Psaras since Martin moved from his old house to a new one next to Dino. About his live perfomance it includes both old and new tracks.Actually he plays some remixes of his older tracks that are not released anywhere and are specificaly designed for his live perfomances.The last time he was invited in Athens last year the crowd went absolutely crazy with his majestic perfomance.
