How many percent of the music you listen

I'd just like to know, I'm curious.

Name what musical genres (roughly, no subgenres) you listen to and especially their percentage of the total amount of music that you put into your player!

Me:

Psy : 45%

Ambient/Chill : 25%

Metal: 15%

Dark Ambient: 10%

Misc/rest: 5%

Dunno about percentage really... mostly listen to chillout, I'd say roughly 80% is chill... 15% is alternative such as Muse, Red Hot Chili Peppers or general rock.. Like Dire Straits etc... Then 3% is psytrance, but only for classic albums - Twisted, B.P Empire... 2% is the other crap I might get forced to listen to occasionally. :D

Check out my Discogs (sig), it's pretty complete. :)

Other than psy there's obviously ambient, IDM, techno, trance, drum'n bass, basically a lot of genres you could file under "electronica", but I can't easily split it up, as in many cases several genres would be overlapping. The psytrance proportion isn't higher than 25% I guess.

Btw, am I the only one without a "misc/other" part, or anything other than electronica for that matter? Maybe I'm in fact a total pervert in this regard

Can't put it into percents but it's mainly:

Psy-Trance

Various Electronic

Pink Floyd

Rock

Some Ethnic

I like the way you classed Pink Floyd as an individual genre. :P

I was like that once, more fanatical maybe. For two, maybe three years, betwen 1995 and 1998, 90% of what I listened to was psy trance. I lovingly refer to them as the 'saturated years' as I was on lsd most nights. I didn't listen to psy for a good year after that though. I kinda OD'ed on it I think.

Yeah, that is a lot. It would all start to blur together for me after that much listening.

By the way, AC, I noticed you've been listening to HIA and Namlook. Do you have the original(s), or is that some online dealio? Also, do you by any chance have HIA and Deep Space Network?
