1) How and when did you start making Psy-trance?

In 1994 some friends of us introduced us to this by then quite new style in the trance scene. We knew from the first listen that this was something for our ambition in music. The warmth and happy vibes that soured through this kind of music by then was simply overwhelming.

2) Before you talked about releasing an album. Are you going to do that?

Well if you mean a Subcouds release we don´t really know yet. We have just picked up working together again after our vitalising escapades in different parts of the world. So who knows what lies around the next corner? An album? Maybe. Anyway there's going to be some kind of Subcouds release this year, we're pretty sure!

3) Which one of your own tracks do you like best ?

This is a really tricky question, but we have to say that our first release(Greeenflow released on phantasm 1995) is very special for us since it's our first 12" and it was quite popular for a time.

4) Your favourite Goa Group, Album, Top 5 Goa Tracks ?

Subcouds..oopps... sorry, no honestly we have to say that we think the things that X-dream and Simon Posford are doing deserves some special attention.

Best Tracks :

X-Dream : Radio

Hallucinogen : L.S.D

Transwave : Land Of Freedom

Jörg On Mushroom : The Messenger

5) How do you get your inspiration?

From everywhere: Travelling, dreams and all the things we encounter in the sphere of our daily lifes. Quite a boring answer but true... ;)

6) What is the first thing you do on a track? And after that, what is the next step?

Well... originally we always started with the groove and the bassline and this is still more or less the way we work today as well, athough these days we tend to focus more and more on the whole sound of a track instead of just analysing the separate sounds.

7) Future projects ?

As mentioned before we have just started up again, and we are aiming on producing a bit more progressive trance compared to our previous work.

8) Are there any artists you haven't worked with that you would like to work with?

We guess it would be amazing to watch a guy like Simon Posford in action, but we don´t really look for people to collaborate with as we hardly have time for our own projects.

9) What do you think about the future of Psychedelic Trance music ?

Well in general the scene is moving closer to the traditional techno music. Less arabic scales and more focus on the percussion. This is probably the future coarse as well even though we might try to change all that! :)

10) What is the worst mistake you have done when you played at a party?

During a pre-recorded passage of our live set at Docklands (Stockholm) last year we accidently stopped the DAT-tape by mistake. Twice! Veeeeeery silent... :| *oups!*

11) ;-) Well Thanks a lot !
