Review:

This is the kind of compilation that makes you feel cheated. The cover is

really good and the inner notes promise so much that you feel you have a real

treasure in your hands. The problem its that it has no direction and you feel

that TIP urgently needed to release something with a bunch of songs that had

been already licensed. Deedrahs remix sucks, he really manage to destroy that

song. The only memorable moment is track from Lotus Omega TUU TUUUUUU TUUUUUU

TUUUUUU. Its sad to know that TIP couldn't provide us a HALLUCI-NATIONS PART 2

instead of this shitty CD. 2/10

Etnica track is excellent, and i'll listen to this right through

'till t.10, the Morphog track which is a wicked morning ditty. True though

that there are a few 2 many re-releases and re-mixes... the inf' mushies (Rmx)

don't du it 4 mi, the lotus omega track was too similar to the original, and

the Maskalin track is really the first song on the Xerox-Freestyle album. 6/10

I think people react unreasonably when they hear a new kind of production in

Psychedelic trance. The album is well polished and has that great trancy high

production sound-where all trance should be heading. The track by Electric

scientists must rank as one of those all time killer which imprints on your

brain(more trance like this please) but all the other tracks sound great as

well when played loud. The Maskilin track is special as is the Lotus Omega and

Etnica tracks. Worth hunting out and buying and playing loud for some really

great foot stomping sounds.

a lovely cd. i enjoy all the songs. it's great when u listen to it outside,

jamming frisbee or lounging around the pool or in your room or wherever. it's

fresh sounding and the lotus moega (Rmx) is very cool....i was totally amazed

at the intro - it's unique, supertrippy and i just love it. electric

scientists song is excellent.....we could definitely benefit from more

collaborations between these to bands!!! etnica is cool, but really, all the

songs are enjoyable. i really like the vibes coming out of this cd. 8/10 ohm

shivaya!!!

I agree with the comment above. I like listening to this outside with my

walkmans (and loud). It radiates a sort of sunny atmosphere. It aslo gets

better

with time, which is why it took me so long to make this review, as I changed my

opinion often (which I do anyway with all music). This comp has on it a lot of

buzzing sounds (in melodies), which are pretty cool. All the tracks are quite

good, except for Overload remix, which is a lot worse than the original. I

guess that's the biggest reason I don't like (I can't avoid comparing the two

versions). However, it still fits into the comp. The best tracks are the Lotus

Omega one and the Etnica one (as usual). But like I said, all the tracks are

quite good and fit together and this makes the comp a very nice on on the

whole.

7,5/10.

This isn't quite as good as I thought it would be. Track 1 is excellent and I

also rather like track 8 for it's funkiness. A few other goodies but the Lotus

Omega remix is awful - having said that so was the original. Looking forward

the next TipWorld compilation which is supposed to be a stormer. Anyway 7/10

for this one.

What?? This is the best album in ages. The Vynil version, every track is a

winner. I mean original tracks, good sounds, not so full on but groovy. The

second lp has 4 total winners. Relax a bit hey :) No messy tracks here.

Yeti Part 3 : Total Eclipse Remix ......................

Lib 2000 : Tycho Remix .................................

Maskalin : Alien Funk ..................................

Morphog: Out In The Fields .............................

By the way, i like most of Halluci:nations, but not one track on Divi:nations

is really good for me.

Trance de Eivissa.. 9/10 to 10/10??

It does lack a bit of direction, but LIghthouse, Yeti Part 3 and

Alien Funk are Superb, Deedrah what were you thinking? If you want to get a

message across do it differently 7/10.

i wanna add here that i've had this cd for a long time, and it's still one of

my most enjoyable one's. i usually look forward to playing it - it's so funky

and tight, yet at times is loose and full. the ONLY song i don't like here is

the overload (Rmx) by deedrah - not so cool. the rest are rad!!

Good comp as always with TIP ! The only bad track is the deedrah remix, well

it's not bad, but compared to the original... Sounds a little more like a

collection of tracks than a comp, but it's nice listening to it. Great songs

are Electric scientists with a fat synth and lots of jumping sounds, the

lighthouse remix is as good as the original maybe a little too similar, No

light without darkness is dark night stomper, Process song is really groovy

and Yeti part 3 is very good. Overall 8.5/10

I kinda thought this album was good until the end of track 1 and then it

sucked, but I like too be positive, so the point in track 1 where the bass and

beat kick back in on there own is pure majik. Its been done a million times

before and its so simple, but they do it sooooo well, the only point in the

album that put a grin on my face.ES track 10/10 rest of comp 4/10

P.S. Buy this comp if only for the first track - its worth it.

Oh yes its a very strange album because it's going from....100 to 0. in tracks

from 1 to 6 are the all power of this cd because the tracks from 7 to 11 (no

bad tracks) are experimental sound. for 1 to 6 tracks 9/10. for 7-11 tracks

6/10. for TIP or for producters 0/10.

This CD is a good compilation. The Deedrah Remix isn't that bad in the context

of this CD & the rest of the tracks are really good! I would've put a

different Process track on here than Psychobabble maybe Maharishi or

Terrorist, but I guess perhaps they weren't written at the time
