The first CD has some great melodic songs (NOT cheesy...!!) that are great to dance during a sunset... Yes, even Mystica, who's solo-cd is pure shit, made a good track here!! Off course there are also two tracks of Erez here... The one he made with Duvdevani is not really Infected-style, it's rather a slow dream-song but the song of "I-zen" )) is Awesome... The same bass as in the song of Infected "The Gathering) and some great melodies!! So I simply like EVERY song of CD1 CD2 is harder and darker... Sandman shows us some more music as on his CD "Psychotoons" it's exactly the same style and after that follows the best song of CD 2... Future Prophecy gave us some great morning-trance with a fat beat... really wonderfull!! Cat On Mushroom's "The Fly" needs no introduction I guess!! Song nr 5 is not good at all, and it sure doesn't fit between song nr 4 And 6!! Infected Deedrah is a nice combination but somehow I don't like the song, altough it's very Psychedelic...! Song 6 is mediocre, song 7 really sucks... I don't know what that song is doing on this CD cuz that's no Goa or Psy-Trance, that's normal Techno ((( And the combination between Shiva Sidpao and Infected gave a song loved by everybody except me I guess, simply because of that Drum'n Bass part... Chakra And Edi-Mis - X File (Quirk Rmx) is awesome also. I LOVE that monkey sound, love to hear it when I've been dancing all night long Btw, track 8 on CD2 is false, the instruments used together sounds bad in one part of the song.. Infected Mushroom and I-Zen have done some very dreamy songs here. On the second cd, Sandman did a very good work with STP, one of his best song ever, dark atmosphere and melody. Also The Fly and My mummy said are the best of this comp, killer bassline, and kind of scary. The Aliens sample fits well in My Mummy said. Diablo song is good too. Last track is more ambient, experimental and quite interesting, reminds me a little of shpongle. Nice melody. but it starts too late (About 7min.) But i wont say that there's any Killers on this comp. but i love it. 9/10 - maybe becouse there's so many songs with the mushies. Tracks 4 & 6 on cd 1 and 3,5 & 8 on Cd 2 are must haves for every infected fan. Dream theatre is one of their best tracks ever. It's a little sad they didn't put harder beats in it, then it would been even a bigger killer.... The tracks by Yahel, I-Zen, Space Cat and Jörg on Mushrooms are also great stuff. Guest [Anonymous] Posted November 7, 2001 Share Posted November 7, 2001 Jorg on Mushroom ....... oh my fucking god, there is nothing like it, totally diffrent and unique... so much feel so much emotion, so much talent... the sounds are so crisp and fit together perfectly, I simply can't understand anyone who doesn't appreciate the genius of this track, it is sad at times, happy at times,furious at times, melodic at times... an epic, it simply tells a story... 10/10 for the track, 6/10 for the whole comp (there are much much better israeli tracks around, new and old) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
