ok... so i've been trying to get into this album for about 2 weeks now and i

have to agree with some of you, something is def missing...i think it is in

the mixing... i hear where they could take a catchy hook but it's buried so

far in the back ground that it never quite hits you... why would i use

headphones to enjoy this album when i can pop in logic bomb or tromesa into

any boom box and enjoy it...im sorry but this cd may be good to some of you

but i can never quite get through this one without changing the cd. BORING!!!

To everyone not getting the genius of this cd. Listen again and listen

carefully. Listen to the fantastic fat production, listen to the wonderful

strange subtley everchanging sounds going around massaging every corner of

your brain, builing, building, slowly and with full control until bam, it hits

you right in the heart and you explode out into a universe so beautiful it

could only have been created by Son Kite. Thanks Sebastian & Marcus.

When I first heard "perspectives of" I thought: "well, nice but not THAT

great." On my second hearing: "Were all these soundz there before???" On the

third hearing the sound had grown on me and I simply LOVE it now!!!

To all who said that this album is a boring one:

SCRATCH THE SURFACE! dive into it!

No need to say that Aiwana lifts your mind to higher spheres, I eagerly await

the remixes!!!

Indeed syre , collection is one of my favourite tracks too , including Where's

my drum and hi - fi stomp session (very obvious ofcourse) ... well , i must

say i didn't like this album from the beginning and i 'sometimes' still prefer

the more tribal 'minilogue' ... but these perspectives are surely growing on

me ... the sound is unique , fresh , certainly not chaotic and the music has

this professional touch imo . Sebastian and Marcus are doing very very great ,

i like their efforts ... 9/10 no psychedelic doubt about that .

Had this for a while. I got it at the same time I got Ticon - Rewind (also

good). At first, it did seem rather flat to me. Compact, linear, but it was

obvious that a groove existed below the surface. Encouraged by the rave

reviews, I kept listening periodically. One day, while doing some home work, I

threw it on. Somewhere in there, I stopped working and realized I hadn't been

working for a while, totally wrapped up in it. That was my breakthrough moment

for this CD. Now, I would say I like it slightly better than Ticon. Even the

ashtray track has grown on me. It's one of my favorites on the album, but

there's no bad tracks on here. Final verdict: I don't listen to it often, but

when I do, I thoroughly enjoy it. Very energetic, bouncy, and hypnotic.

Good production but xtremly boring & flat, there's much better minimalistic

psytrance around ( Atmos, Noma, Vibrasphere just to name a few)

In my opinion, very untalented material. How can this be compared to

Ticon(rewind), which is a masterpiece.

3/10 for sound quality

With X-Dream's "Radio" and KoxBox "Dragon Tales" as the best psychedelic dance

album yet produced. A masterpiece from top to bottom. (BTW, this is constucted

for phat EV/turbosound systems, not boomboxes.)

Just saw Son Kite live in NYC. They more than made up for the lack of

atmosphere, due to last minute relocation. Hypnotic, excellent minimalist

bass-filled stuff. The people that call this stuff boring are apparently not

into this style, but if you are, take it and run. Best I've heard. Great

production.

The best Progressive CD EVER. Aiwana has to be my favorite track here.

Unbelievable. If you haven't bought it yet you are missing out on one of the

best Trance CD's ever made.

i have this album since one week after it came out, i still listen to it and

enjoy it very much, it might sound flat and boring at the first, but it sure

will grow fast!! you would hear the different sounds and textures every time

you listen to it... especially under influence of weed or even harder stuff!!

its the BEST!! also saw their live about 3 months ago... they are my all time

fav artists along with Simon, x-dream and logic bomb!!

Fuck me, what an Album! Yeah it's been out for a while but considering how

quickly most electronic music dates it's good to see this Cd is still

regularly in my Cd rotation. Whether they are Playing live or producing in the

studio Son Kite consistently create such pumping yet intricate music. Some

tracks ,on first listen, seem to be outstaying their welcome but these two

guys have really put alot of effort into this album. Each track progresses

perfectly yet with subtelty ( With the exception of " If Ashtrays could talk"

which is a bit dull) and their attention to the quality of the Kick Drum,

Basslines, percussion and samples is simply phenomenol. I shudder to think how

good there next one's gonna be. Best tracks would have to be 3,7,8,9. Good-bye

Goa hello Son-Kite. 10/10

hahahaha I'm not a big minimal psy fan, but I LOVE Detroit techno. Most of the

time I've wondered why minimal psy artists don't get more of their inspiration

from Detroit-techno... well guess what... Son Kite does!! Driveshaft is my

absolute fave minimal psy track!!! wohoooo!! Keep em coming, Seb!! 9/10

The wierd thing about this (absolutely brilliant) album is the fact that as

loud and pumping as the tracks are, i find myself using is as a chill out cd

as much as a late night-stomping cd. It is really that versatile! the KICKS

THEY USE OMG - that's the reason i am able to chill to it - they are hard yet

SOFT - unbelievable. All the tracks have real character and you can be sure

these guys are the pros of the pros. Killer grooves from beggining to end. And

i just cannot pull myself away from the speakers once i press play on this

album. It must be played from beggining to end :) Son-Kite have done a great

job here! 9/10
