02. 09'06" Creatures From Outerspace

Review:

To be real honest I was a little bit disapointed by this EP, It's still very

good,

but they've already done better stuff... I think I simply was expecting too

much...

The original version of the first song is already well known I guess, and the

remix

is not as good as the original, but the end is different and very good...

The second song is made with DJ Lestat (Talamasca) if I'm not wrong and it has

some

killer parts in it, but also some less good parts, but the end is like usual

with

COFD-songs awesome!! :o)) By the way, the second song is also on the new Hovek

Olam

...I think both songs deserve 8/10! Bom Shankar

Both these tracks are wicked...

Really nice bass line in creatures from outer space original too amazingly as

its pretty simple really.

Maybe kick could have been harder in impossible vortex.

Only fault is usual one structure is pretty much the same in both tracks -

builds up, nearly lets you haveit backs down a bit and then really lets you

have it!!

This is good, but a little variation would be nice.

Generally though I REALLY like these tracks lots of lovely psychedelic noises

and not TOO melodic. 7/10

The track on Hovek Olam comp (Vojoo Rituals) differs from one that's here - and

this fact is quite reasonable as what we've got on this EP here is the

Original while abovementioned comp contains the Remix with Talamasca, which is

far better I think, more intense & integrated ;) Trying to evaluate both

tracks on this EP, I come to the conclusion that I don't like it at all - all

the energies are leading nowhere, patterns have misshaped form, etc. I guess

it's filler?! to let the real gems on forefront shine...the last, if properly

put in set the filler instead! ;) My grade: 5/10. Tchankov I.V.
