Review:

As a good citizen I must warn my fellow psychedelians of this horrible danger.

If you are unlucky enough to actually find this album, avoid it like the

plague. In fact, it probably is the plague! This album could make the devil

himself die. STOA - Remember to take this with you when you go to hell for the

murder of sound. All the tracks are the same, all the tracks use cheesy bad

sounds, all the tracks are melodic in a bad way, all the tracks have juvenile

arrangement. All the tracks use the same snare roll! I mean THE SAME!!!

NOTHING DIFFERENT!!!! THEY USED THE SAME ROLL IN EVERY TRACK, AT LEAST 50

TIMES IN THE ALBUM!!!!!!! *deep breath* There is nothing good about this

album, not one track. If you have ever wondered what truly bad goatrance

sounds like, listen to this one but DO NOT buy it!!! My rating: Goose egg.

How I love those commercial OAKENFIELD clubby drumbeats in the opening track

which is honestly enough an enjoyable "happy" track where the

Shamanic(?)Tribes on Acid(?) copycat early Astral Projection. After that the

shamanic bottle seems empty and you feel sorry for yourself wasting valuable

time to listen to tracks that go absolutely nowhere. A washing machine

produces more shamanic goa and acid than this miserable effort to cash in on

our beloved genre. Take the advice of the wise man above and steer clear. 1/10

This is a bit....too much. i heard this album once and it was difficult to bear

it till the end...its main flaw is that it's a bit of anything that makes it a

big nonsense (portnawak). With more work it would have been excellent..."as

it", it's too unmethodical/disjointed.

I must add that some other albums there were reviewed with a better mark, while

they were worse.

3.5/10

Yes it is that bad, 9 so called "tunes" that sucks bigtime...i rather take some

pcp and burn my nutsack with a lighter the same time i'm farting so hard my

ass is flying away*KaBoom*(much more shamanic sounds there...hehe), instead of

listening to this Shit.

3 questions:

Where are those Shamanic sounds?

...because i can't hear them.

Tribes On Acid, what a lame name for a lame group...don't you think?

Oh...now i get it, Tribes On Acid...you must take acid when listening on this

shit(when is never i supose).

And the name of the record, Future World???

Is this the future i will go kill myself.

And if you're asking if this is a good record then buy a couple of ears and a

new brain at www.psyshop.com

Well my opinion is that it's a cool CD.

What do you guys want, for heaven's sake?

Jake rocks and I want to marry him and have

his babies. No, not really. I don't like

babies. O.k., so it's not Astral Projection,

but that's not comparing like with like, is it?

As much a landmark album as Hallucinogen's "Twisted". This album is to goa/psy

trance the same as Nirvana's "Nevermind" was to grunge music. The melodies are

incredible, the sound production is fantastic, Shamanic Tribes on Acid blow

all other psy trance acts away with this one. Infected Mushroom, Logic Bomb,

X-Dream etc.- They are all still catching up. Don't be fooled by the

Anti-Shamanic Tribes comments; The truth is that the Shamanic Tribes on Acid

are the greatest psy-trance act in the world, but because their music is so

amazing and powerful, many large Psychedelic Trance labels have started a

conspiracy against them. Once you have listened to this, you can burn the rest

of your collection. the Shamanic Tribes on Acid are the greatest psychedelic

trance act there was, is, and ever will be.

i find it very psychedelic, and i love this one.

may be, a bit poorly sounds bass - all times the same. the same bass-rhythm through whole album.

but synthezator is played in a right way to make it album very nice and tasty.

Electric Dimension is awesome. fast & hard & dark & twisted & multilayered.

This man was vary talentled, hats off.

Reading through this thread there is a little more testicular conversation than I'm comfortable with. The majority opinion on this is that it blows with a few holdouts appreciating it for what it is. I just bought it because I thought I should and the price was right. The first thing I noticed was that homie went snare roll cray cray! Someone mentioned that and they were absolutely right. It's impossible to miss. Second it's repetitive even for trance music. I walked away to check on my roasted carrots and sweet potatoes and damn if I didn't miss anything. I kept waiting for tracks to take a turn, but it didn't happen. This is downhill skiing with not f*cking trees in the way and a level grade. Sure it's great for a few minutes, but then you just snowplow to do something different. And the whole disc is like that.

You can't compare this to Astral or X-Dream in their prime because it's insulting. Now I haven't heard this project's earlier albums so maybe they were just as good. But this is not their finest hour.
