Label: HOM-Mega

Date: 2002

Track listing:

01. 07'43" Science Is God (Rmx)

02. 07'17" Adrenalin Rush

03. 07'09" Frequency Drive

04. 07'01" Time Code

05. 06'56" Euro-Fresh

06. 07'39" Cosmic

07. 07'37" Fanatical Clubbers

08. 07'13" Crossing Over

09. 07'51" In And Out

Review:

My first global impress is that one : the best tracks are

provided when Xerox made featuring (track 1 with Astrix, 2

with Psy Craft, 7 with Maskalin, 9 with Illumination).

Exception coming from Crossing Over, the only solo Xerox

tune, which equals the level quality of the co-produced

stuffs.

In details, i notice 3 parts in Frequency Drive :

Full on (tracks 1&2)

Groovy Progressive (Tracks 3 to 5)

Morning or Clubby PsyTrance (T 6 to 9)

One more time It seems that Asrix is really a 'will be'

very promising artist as listened to this remix of Science

is God. I think i've never heard Tracks in which Astrix is

involved that's sounding bad or average ; a Very good one.

Another very interesting energic stuff with Psy Craft.

Then comes what i name the groovy progressive section of

the album. Following Adrenalin Rush, adrenalin is just

that lack on these stuffs quite average according to me. I

think Xerox is naturally born to produce adrenalin stuffs

than groovy progressive ones (Probably this is due to the

always remaining Xerox & Freeman's goa-full on stuffs in my

mind) ,Euro-fresh is the most interesting with some fun

spirit in his sounds but not brainblasting.

As for the groovy section, the clubby-morning one lacks a

bit of something. Nevertheless, this section is largely

better than previous one. Cosmic sounds quite melodic

morning alike for me, reminds me partly some Human Blue's

tracks on his Electric Roundabout album.

Good melodic cluby one with Fanatical Clubbers (previously

released on Isralien 3) and as i

said before Crossing Over is the best solo Xerox track here

more PsyTrance & less clubby. Last one with Illumination

is may be the weakest Co-produced track ,less good as

Crossing Over but largely above the groovy ones.

If you like Israelian typical trance, you'll love this

album.

Best moments by order: Tracks 1-2

Others good stuffs byr order :7-8-6

Bad ones : 3-4

Final verdict :

7/10 & only 6,5/10 for people who already know Fanatical

Clubbers

I think this is a grand piece of work, definitely one of my favorite cds at the

moment. Some wonderful morning tracks, night stompers and all full-on. I am

surprised that nobody mentions track 4 "time code"... I was spinning that

yesterday and it totally rules .-)

Very good album , sometimes club oriented sometimes full-on, with many good

tracks for the morning like the old classic science is good now remixed

,another gem here is the track with psycraft a fucking killer, a very good

album who is for the dancefloors to put the people dancing.

Favorites : 1,2,4,7

Opul you're so right about Time code.

I played it during an open air morning set yesterday and it just sounded

magical. It's by far the best track on this album if you ask me.

The rest is nice but nothing spectacular I think.

8/10

One of the most interesting albums I heard lately ... yes it sometimes sound

clubby influenced, but still fresh, stomping and some tracks are really

OUTSTANDING ! I particularly think to tracks 1&8 ... I personally think (not

as lespagnol above) there are a lot of "explosions" in this album. This one is

better than "Freestyle" for sure, still pretty melodic but not cheesy at all

(don't buy it if you're searching for Yahel ultra-clubby trance). Rating : 7/10

*** Moses is back indeed ***

and he pumps up alot of parties thsese days as Adrenaline rush is already a

huge hit and is the best on the album imo, coming after the smash start with

Sciences is god rmx.

from then on as said the album takes a different direction, but i like the next

track FREQUENCY DRIVE,it has a monstrous kick and is excellent for a begining

of a set.

COSMIC is also a morning hit, though its bassline is pure Astrix style - but

it's all in the (HomMega)family so what the hell.

Xerox seems to make a lot of tracks with Illumination thses days(they made two

new other tracks)and IN & OUT is another favorite.

As for a fullon album i give this one a solid 8.5/10.

if u are this kind of a DJ don't pass on,it worx great on da floor, it and if

you are a fullon maniac, you will enjoy this spinning in your car.

To be honest I'm a little disappointed with this album, maybe because his first

two were so brilliant. The first track (Science Is God RMX) is by far the best

track on the whole album. The others are somehow to "common", I can't exactly

describe it but it sounds like a lot of israeli-clubby-house influenced tracks

that are on the market right now. Nothing special Xerox-like in it. As said

above, maybe I expected too much because of the two albums or because of

Xeorx' DJ sets but I think he could have done much better. Anyway, maybe it

takes another couples of listenins until I can get into it but right now I

don't like this album too much.

I've honestly tried not reading reviews BEFORE listening to CDs because i seriously considered myself to be biased once i had read someone else's opinion.

However, Tatsu, your 2002 words are the same as mine in 2008. First track got me dancing... and progressively i sat back down waiting for the CD to repeat and hear that wonderful track again! Will try it again later, and even though i don't think any of the tracks are actually BAD, they're just nothing special (apart from the first of course, that one kicks ass).
