Review:

This is a good debut album, full of nice melodies, not boring, something on the

cutting edge, i think. Sometimes tracks are a bit like Luminus' ones (Max is

going to kill me) , but you can feel something beyond this, less cheesy. each

track has some kind of charm... I especially like tracks nr 1,2,4,6,7 Special

distinction to the Angel Johnatan (trk.7) composed with Erez Mushroom & Jorg

SST, which is very inventive (bagpipes rules!) 7/10

Fantastic debut album! It would have been a masterpiece if it had a bit of

cohesiveness between the tracks. But who cares, this is high quality melodic

psy trance at it's most uplifting and emotional level. There are more emotions

and ideas in this album than Darshan's Spectra, Intact Instinct, Minilogue,

and five other CDs put together. You have to have rigor mortis not to smile or

shake your hips to any of the tracks contained within. Buy this album if you

see it, don't hesistate unless of course you hate melodic trance at all levels.

Less cheesy than i expected....cool !!! Rave 2000 could have been a definitive

killer in my mind if Yahel put it on a harder edge. The sounds are very weirds

& not the one you're used to hear in trance tracks. I hope Yahel won't keep

his cheesy "title name"..Rave 2000..seems like an advertismement :) Anyway the

quality music is here & that's the most important.

If you need a slighlty cheesy/melodic CD in your collection then this is

it-really lifts the party without the cringe factor. I saw this guy play live

and I thought he lifted the party beyond that of Infected.Have a listen at

least.

Very good CD!! I don't think it's cheesy, I think it's just enough melodic to

be good Israeli Trance!! What also is cool is that he makes different types of

music, song nr 1 is good morning-Trance, nr 4 is great Goa for on party's and

nr 8 sounds a bit like Techno (Shit...)!! So I enjoyed this CD very much

except song 8 (because it sounds a bit like Techno and I simply hate Techno)

and the end of song 7... What happened there??? Using celtic insturments isn't

original enymore so he tried Country and Western... Damned, that sucks!!!

(héhé)!! But overall a nice and danceable CD!! Bom Shankar

It's me again. I hope people won't think i'm a yawner but I think that a high

quality album (and as I said before this is a good album overall) needs a

quality cover. The cover is not terrible but what about the harsh spelling

mistakes on the back cover. How would people take the music seriusly when the

first impression is of a low quality product (It doesn't do good to the

reputation of goa trance in general and its producers). I know I myself have

many spelling mistakes like most of the other goa fans who write reviews here

and are not from english speaking countries but I'm talking about an album

that is distributed around the globe, man!!!. It's is not too hard to spell

check (with a simple dictionary) before sending the cover into press. Well,

enough yawning.

It's fine , and it got some cool vibes , very old school trance the only

strange thing is heuh...heh , the angel jonatan track , where he adds some

kind of country music !!! The first time i listenned i couldn't believe it , i

was like "damn but it's a joke or what??!!", really ridiculous and completly

CHEEZY!! yeeeeeehhhaaaa!! At least it proves that yahel doesn't take himself

to seriously .

OH by the way , recently i heard an unreleased track from the forthcoming yahel

album .....ANd this is unbelieveble!!!! If you thought yahel was cheezy , if

you thought that yahel like AP would never evolve , YOU WERE WRONG! I had the

same feeling when i listenned for the first time an infected mushroom track ,

it was the return of the shadow , and i can tell you it was some kindda

similar and some similar vibes but yahel's track is better .

You can hear that Yahel is from Israel, but within the Isra-alien TRAAANCE

scene he's definately an individual. It's a good listener - nice to wake up

with, but it's not the kind of disc where you can discover new sounds in after

the first week. It's psychedelic, but not mind-contracting. Yahel has a lot of

potential......

Pretty Good debut album from Yahel :-) I don't think there are Bad Tracks (but

Track 7 is strangely split in 2 very distinct melodies, the 2nd being a celtic

one) and my favourites are Tracks 1,5,6,8 (particularly Tracks 1 And 6) !

Rating : 6.5/10

a very good cd! yahel is very talented and definately has his own unique sound:

it's uplifting and melodic but has a very original edge it that shows a lot of

promise! i'm really looking forward to his next cd, especially after that 2nd

note by chaffi. oh and the end of track 7 just sucks! =) i was expecting more

with erez aizen co-producing, but i really suspect that jorg is to blame for

that outrageously cheese country/celtic bagpipe crap. =) and to kvin 2000: the

spelling mistakes are found all through the shiva space technology releases.

it really pisses me off too, and i hope they can fix that, because they have

put out some really amazing music so far!

the title track "For The Peeople" is just too much melodic and uplifting which

is nice...

I feel if so many good artists work on a track the outcome can be better?

Both "Waves of Sound" and "For the People" are the best, most unique trance

albums ever created. Truly Yahel knows what true trance should be made of. A

trance album has never pounded me in the soul and taken me to paradise such as

this one. The beautiful melodies and soul grabbing vocals take you to another

world where all the world becomes a musical heaven. Yahel is by far the best

and I would rate it 10 out of 10!

Hey, what do you all have against track 7 ?? Come on this is the

best track of the album! Have you heard this? YYYeeeeeehhhhhaaa!!!

HHiiiiiiiiiihhhi!!

It's like the first time i listenned to hallucinogen - jiggle of the sphinx, i

was like, damn what is this fucking celtic melody??!!It sounded cheese and

ridiculous as hell. But After a while it became my fav track of the album, and

it's the same for angel jonathan! So i advise everyone to take a closer listen

to this track with full volume!(Come on, don't tell me you don't like the

flute and violon!!!)

Except this, i'd say the first track is good, but a bit boring as are many of

the sad goa tracks, but it remains good and well produced with beautifull

melodies. The one for me which is really outstanding is snap. I have rarely

heard such energy and such positives vibes, and with the progressive raise of

the track, it takes you above the sky! Reminds me some very old trance

production.

Yahel's first album is very very good melodic trance. If you don't like

melodic trance, then don't listen to this one. Some people love the beautiful

melodies and then some people will always think that they sound cheesy. So

why do those people even bother buying Yahel's album? If you don't like

melodic goa-trance, don't buy this album.

I, personally, love melodic trance, and Yahel's For The People is some of the

best out there. Songs like the title track, and Snap are very uplifting and

emotional. Every track on here is at least good - and many of them are

excellent. There isn't a single semi-bad track on the entire album. The only

track that even starts to get dull is Cosmic Waves, but people with any

patience will appreciate this track.

Another excellent track is Angel Jonathan (done with Erez and Jorg). The first

half is pretty standard...but then around the five minute mark you hear the

original melody stop...and what the hell is this coming in? It's Celtic

melodies! Turn this song up as loud as possible and just spin around in

circles screaming "yeeeeeehaaaaaa" along with the violins and bagpipes! This

is music that makes you want to get drunk and spin around in circles while

shouting happy gibberish! Like the guy above me, it may sound a tiny bit

cheesy at first, but I swear it will grow on you!

I'd also like to point out track 9, Bizarre Contact. This song starts off very

weird and psy-trance sounding, but about 4 minutes into this song, a very very

sad melody starts playing. I don't know if it is my own personal reaction or

if it was supposed to sound this way, but this song becomes so heartwrenching,

yet so beautiful - I almost cry when listening to this song. This song is the

personification of a bleeding heart - and it takes some talent to put this

kind of emotion into a track.

Yahel's For The People will surely be appreciated by those who love melodic

trance. Is is very beautiful, yet full of energy, and it doesn't ever get

cheesy, contrary to some of the other reviews here. If you think that all

melodic trance sounds cheesy, don't even bother.

Final score - 8.5/10

Total crapazola. My god. Some nice touches in otherwise abysmal tracks. I was

thinking "Yahel eq quality and distinctive style" but blah, this one is total

disappointment. No rating. Clasless.

Very good album. Great debut from Yahel with lots of interesting melodies,

especially FOR THE PEOPLE but the best track for me is BIZZARE CONTACT. That

is song worth bying the whole album, all along with For The People. But all

other songs are good too...
